Inside cabin

The modern and functionally furnished inside cabins of the Costa Smeralda offer a comfortable environment for relaxing days at sea. Features include air conditioning, interactive satellite TV (pay TV for a fee), bathroom with shower and WC, hairdryer, safe, minibar (for a fee) and Wi-Fi (for a fee).
With a size of approx. 13 m², the inside cabins offer space for up to four people. Depending on the cabin location and category, some twin beds are available. The well-thought-out design ensures a pleasant atmosphere and high living comfort throughout the cruise.

Outside cabin

The outside cabins of the Costa Smeralda have a large window or in some cases portholes and offer a beautiful sea view. With a size of approx. 20 m², the ocean-view cabins offer space for 2 to 4 people (some have twin beds). Features include air conditioning, satellite TV, bathroom with shower, hairdryer, safe as well as minibar and Wi-Fi for a fee. The well-thought-out design and the spacious feeling make the outside cabin a comfortable retreat during the cruise.

Balcony cabin

The balcony cabins of the Costa Smeralda combine modern living comfort with a private outdoor area and a magnificent view of the sea. Your own balcony invites you to enjoy the fresh sea air and impressive views in a relaxed atmosphere.
The cabins are approx. 17 m² in size (plus balcony) and offer space for 2 to 4 people. Features include air conditioning, satellite TV, bathroom with shower, hairdryer, safe as well as minibar and Wi-Fi for a fee. Some of the cabins are equipped with twin beds.

Meals

Full board

A total of 11 restaurants on board provide culinary variety with specialities from all over the world. These include, among others, a buffet restaurant, the pizzeria "Pummid’Oro", the Teppanyaki restaurant, the family restaurant "Tutti a Tavola" as well as the "Laboratorio del Gusto", where selected dishes can be prepared by yourself (partly for a fee and reservation required). The dining times in the main restaurants are set by Costa.
The gastronomic offer is complemented by 19 bars and cafés (for a fee), including the Spazio Bollicine by Ferrari Spumante, the Aperol Spritz Bar, the Campari Bar, the sports bar, the Bacaro Veneziano, the Nutella Café as well as two Amarillo ice cream parlours. Thus, the Costa Smeralda offers varied moments of enjoyment for every taste.

In addition to the full board services, the MyItalian indulgence package can be booked. This includes a large selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks for any time of day. These include, among others, cocktails such as Aperol Spritz, Campari Spritz, Negroni and Martini cocktails, high-quality coffee specialities from Caffè Vergnano as well as beer, soft drinks and mineral water.
Also included are selected liqueurs, brandies and bitters, including Limoncello, Grappa, Averna and Ramazzotti, as well as Italian red, rosé and white wines, Prosecco and Spumante. The offer is complemented by homemade Italian ice cream and selected culinary specialities. Sports included

The extensively and modernly equipped fitness centre with a magnificent sea view offers ideal conditions for daily training on board. Various cardio and weight machines enable sporting activities in a pleasant atmosphere.
In the outdoor area, a multi-purpose sports court as well as a jogging track are also available and offer numerous possibilities for exercise and sporting balance in the open air. This allows activity, relaxation and a holiday experience to be optimally combined on the Costa Smeralda.

For additional sporting activities, various classes such as yoga, Pilates and Kinesis are available in the aerobics studio (for a fee). Furthermore, individual training sessions with professional support can be booked in the fitness centre (for a fee). This allows your personal fitness programme to be designed flexibly even during the cruise.

Children's program

For children and teenagers, the Costa Smeralda offers a varied and age-appropriate leisure programme in the popular Squok children's club. While the youngest guests can let off steam in the mini-club (3–6 years) with games and creative activities, the maxi-club (7–11 years) has a diverse entertainment and activity programme in store.
For teenagers, the Teen Junior Club (12–14 years) as well as the Teen Club (15–17 years) are available with age-appropriate activities, games and meeting points. Thus, young guests find the best conditions to make new friends and spend varied holiday days.
The offer is complemented by a children's paddling pool as well as an entertainment area with video games (for a fee), which ensures additional leisure fun on board.

Wellness

The Samsara Spa (for a fee) extends over around 6,000 m² on four decks and offers an exclusive oasis of relaxation at sea. Amenities include a thermal bath, a thalassotherapy pool, saunas, a Turkish steam bath, solarium as well as several whirlpools.

Entertainment

Spectacular shows in the theatre, live music, a piano bar, a disco as well as a casino for guests aged 18 and over ensure varied entertainment. The diverse on-board programme offers numerous possibilities for entertaining hours at sea during the day and in the evening.
Four pools are available for relaxation and swimming fun, including a covered pool area and a separate swimming deck. Special highlights include the Aqua-Park with several water slides and water attractions as well as the spectacular Skywalk at a height of around 65 metres, which allows for impressive views of the sea.
The leisure offer is rounded off by atmospheric theme nights, interactive events and other on-board events that ensure sociable hours and unforgettable holiday moments.

Lucky Cabin: When booking a Lucky Cabin, the desired cabin category (inside, outside or balcony cabin) is selected, while the assignment of the cabin number and deck is done by Costa.
