Accommodation

Inside cabin

The modern and functionally furnished inside cabins on the Costa Smeralda offer a comfortable setting for relaxing days at sea. Features include air conditioning, interactive satellite TV (pay-per-view), bathroom with shower and WC, hairdryer, safe, minibar (fee applies), and Wi-Fi (fee applies).
Measuring approximately 13 m², the inside cabins can accommodate up to four people. Depending on the cabin location and category, some offer twin beds. The thoughtful design ensures a pleasant atmosphere and high living comfort throughout the cruise.

Outside cabin

The outside cabins on the Costa Smeralda have a large window or, in some cases, portholes and offer a beautiful sea view. Measuring approximately 20 m², these ocean-view cabins accommodate 2 to 4 people (some with twin beds). Amenities include air conditioning, satellite TV, bathroom with shower, hairdryer, safe, as well as minibar and Wi-Fi for a fee. The well-thought-out design and spacious feeling make the outside cabin a comfortable retreat during the cruise.

Balcony cabin

The balcony cabins on the Costa Smeralda combine modern comfort with a private outdoor space and a wonderful view of the sea. Your own balcony invites you to enjoy the fresh sea air and impressive views in a relaxed atmosphere.
The cabins are approximately 17 m² (plus balcony) and accommodate 2 to 4 people. Features include air conditioning, satellite TV, bathroom with shower, hairdryer, safe, as well as minibar and Wi-Fi for a fee. Some cabins are equipped with twin beds.

Meals

Full board

On board, a total of 11 restaurants ensure culinary variety with specialties from all over the world. These include a buffet restaurant, the "Pummid’Oro" pizzeria, the Teppanyaki restaurant, the family restaurant "Tutti a Tavola," and the "Laboratorio del Gusto," where selected dishes can be prepared by guests themselves (some for a fee and by reservation). Dining times in the main restaurants are set by Costa.
The gastronomic offering is complemented by 19 bars and cafés (fee applies), including Spazio Bollicine by Ferrari Spumante, the Aperol Spritz Bar, the Campari Bar, the Sports Bar, Bacaro Veneziano, the Nutella Café, and two Amarillo ice cream parlors. Thus, the Costa Smeralda offers diverse culinary moments for every taste.

In addition to full board, the MyItalian enjoyment package can be booked. This includes a wide selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks at any time of day. This includes cocktails such as Aperol Spritz, Campari Spritz, Negroni, and Martini cocktails, premium coffee specialties from Caffè Vergnano, as well as beer, soft drinks, and mineral water.
Also included are selected liqueurs, brandies, and bitters, including Limoncello, Grappa, Averna, and Ramazzotti, as well as Italian red, rosé, and white wines, Prosecco, and Spumante. The range is complemented by homemade Italian ice cream and selected culinary specialties. The drinks package ensures diverse enjoyment and underlines the Italian lifestyle on board the Costa Smeralda.

Sports included

The extensive and modernly equipped fitness center with a magnificent sea view offers ideal conditions for daily training on board. Various cardio and weight machines allow for sporting activities in a pleasant atmosphere.
In the outdoor area, a multi-purpose sports court and a jogging track are also available, offering numerous opportunities for physical activity and sports under the open sky. Thus, activity, relaxation, and the holiday experience can be optimally combined on the Costa Smeralda.

For additional sports activities, various classes such as yoga, Pilates, and Kinesis are available in the aerobics studio (fee applies). Furthermore, individual training sessions with professional support can be booked in the fitness center (fee applies). Children's program

For children and teenagers, the Costa Smeralda offers a varied and age-appropriate leisure program at the popular Squok Kids Club. While the youngest guests can let off steam in the Mini Club (3–6 years) with games and creative activities, the Maxi Club (7–11 years) provides a diverse entertainment and activities program.
For teenagers, the Teen Junior Club (12–14 years) and the Teen Club (15–17 years) are available with age-appropriate activities, games, and meeting points. This allows young guests the best conditions to make new friends and spend varied holiday days.
The offer is supplemented by a children's paddling pool and an entertainment area with video games (fee applies), which ensures additional leisure fun on board.

Wellness

The Samsara Spa (fee applies) covers approximately 6,000 m² over four decks and offers an exclusive oasis of relaxation at sea. Amenities include a thermal bath, thalassotherapy pool, saunas, Turkish steam bath, solarium, and multiple whirlpools.

Entertainment

Spectacular theater shows, live music, a piano bar, a disco, and a casino for guests aged 18 and over provide varied entertainment. The diverse onboard program offers numerous opportunities for entertaining hours at sea, both during the day and in the evening.
For relaxation and swimming fun, four pools are available, including a covered pool area and a separate swimming deck. Special highlights include the Aqua Park with multiple water slides and water attractions, as well as the spectacular Skywalk at a height of about 65 meters, offering impressive views of the sea.

Lucky Cabin: When booking a Lucky Cabin, the desired cabin category (inside, outside, or balcony) is selected, but the allocation of the cabin number and deck is made by Costa.
