Accommodation

Inside cabin

The modern and functionally furnished inside cabins of the Costa Smeralda offer a comfortable setting for relaxing days at sea. Features include air conditioning, interactive satellite TV (pay-per-view available for a fee), bathroom with shower and WC, hairdryer, safe, minibar (for a fee), and Wi-Fi (for a fee).
With an area of approx. 13 m², the inside cabins accommodate up to four people. Depending on the cabin location and category, some have separate beds. The thoughtful design ensures a pleasant atmosphere and high living comfort throughout the entire cruise.

Outside cabin

The outside cabins of the Costa Smeralda have a large window or, in some cases, portholes, and offer a beautiful sea view. With an area of approx. 20 m², the oceanview cabins accommodate 2 to 4 people (some with separate beds). Features include air conditioning, satellite TV, bathroom with shower, hairdryer, safe, as well as a minibar and Wi-Fi for a fee. The well-thought-out design and spacious feeling make the outside cabin a comfortable retreat during the cruise.

Balcony cabin

The balcony cabins of the Costa Smeralda combine modern living comfort with a private outdoor area and a magnificent view of the sea. The private balcony invites you to enjoy the fresh sea air and impressive views in a relaxed atmosphere.
The cabins are approx. 17 m² (plus balcony) and accommodate 2 to 4 people. Features include air conditioning, satellite TV, bathroom with shower, hairdryer, safe, as well as a minibar and Wi-Fi for a fee. Some cabins are equipped with separate beds.

Meals

Full board

On board, a total of 11 restaurants provide culinary variety with specialties from around the world. These include a buffet restaurant, the "Pummid'Oro" pizzeria, the Teppanyaki Restaurant, the family restaurant "Tutti a Tavola," and the "Laboratorio del Gusto," where selected dishes can be prepared by guests themselves (some for a fee and by reservation). Dining times in the main restaurants are set by Costa.
The gastronomic offer is complemented by 19 bars and cafés (for a fee), including Spazio Bollicine by Ferrari Spumante, the Aperol Spritz Bar, the Campari Bar, the sports bar, Bacaro Veneziano, the Nutella Café, and two Amarillo ice cream parlors. Thus, the Costa Smeralda offers diverse culinary moments for every taste.

The MyItalian gourmet package can be added to the full board service. This includes a large selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks for any time of the day. These include cocktails such as Aperol Spritz, Campari Spritz, Negroni, and Martini cocktails, high-quality coffee specialties from Caffè Vergnano, as well as beer, soft drinks, and mineral water.
Also included are selected liqueurs, brandies, and bitters, including Limoncello, Grappa, Averna, and Ramazzotti, as well as Italian red, rosé, and white wines, Prosecco, and Spumante. The offer is completed by homemade Italian ice cream and selected culinary specialties. The beverage package ensures varied moments of enjoyment and underscores the Italian lifestyle on board the Costa Smeralda.

Sports included

The extensively and modernly equipped fitness center with a magnificent sea view offers ideal conditions for daily training on board. Various cardio and strength machines allow for athletic activities in a pleasant atmosphere.
In the outdoor area, a multi-purpose sports court and a jogging track are also available, offering numerous possibilities for exercise and sporting balance in the open air. This allows activity, relaxation, and the holiday experience to be optimally combined on the Costa Smeralda.

Sports for a fee

For additional sporting activities, various classes such as Yoga, Pilates, and Kinesis are available in the aerobic studio (for a fee). Furthermore, individual training sessions with professional supervision can be booked in the fitness center (for a fee). This allows your personal fitness program to be flexibly maintained even during the cruise.

Children's program

For children and teenagers, the Costa Smeralda offers a varied and age-appropriate leisure program at the popular Squok Children's Club. While the youngest guests can let off steam in the Mini Club (3–6 years) with games and creative activities, the Maxi Club (7–11 years) offers a diverse entertainment and activities program.
For teenagers, the Teen Junior Club (12–14 years) and the Teen Club (15–17 years) are available with age-appropriate activities, games, and meeting points. This provides young guests with the best conditions to make new friends and spend varied holiday days.
The offer is complemented by a children's paddling pool as well as an entertainment area with video games (for a fee), which ensures additional leisure fun on board.

Wellness

The Samsara Spa (for a fee) covers around 6,000 m² over four decks and offers an exclusive oasis of relaxation at sea. Facilities include a thermal bath, a thalassotherapy pool, saunas, a Turkish steam bath, a solarium, and several whirlpools.

Entertainment

Spectacular shows in the theater, live music, a piano bar, a discotheque, and a casino for guests aged 18 and over ensure varied entertainment. The diverse on-board program offers numerous opportunities for enjoyable hours at sea during the day and in the evening.
Four pools are available for relaxation and bathing fun, including a covered pool area and a separate swimming deck. Special highlights include the Aqua Park with multiple water slides and water attractions, as well as the spectacular Skywalk at a height of about 65 meters, which offers impressive views of the sea.
The leisure offer is rounded off by atmospheric theme evenings, interactive events, and other on-board events that ensure sociable hours and unforgettable holiday moments.

Lucky Cabin: When booking a Lucky Cabin, the desired cabin category (inside, outside, or balcony cabin) is selected, while the assignment of the cabin number and deck is done by Costa. This may include, among other things, cabins with separate beds, connecting doors, obstructed views, or accessible cabins. The dining time in the main restaurants is also set by Costa.
