Accommodation

Inside cabin

The modern and functionally furnished inside cabins of the Costa Smeralda offer a comfortable setting for relaxing days at sea. Features include air conditioning, interactive satellite TV (pay-per-view for a fee), bathroom with shower and WC, hairdryer, safe, minibar (for a fee), and Wi-Fi (for a fee).
With a size of approx. 13 m², the inside cabins offer space for up to four people. Depending on the cabin location and category, some have separate beds. The well-thought-out design ensures a pleasant atmosphere and high living comfort throughout the entire cruise.

Outside cabin

The outside cabins of the Costa Smeralda have a large window or sometimes portholes and offer a beautiful ocean view. With a size of approx. 20 m², the oceanview cabins offer space for 2 to 4 people (some with separate beds). Features include air conditioning, satellite TV, bathroom with shower, hairdryer, safe, as well as a minibar and Wi-Fi for a fee. The well-thought-out design and spacious feeling make the outside cabin a comfortable retreat during the cruise.

Balcony cabin

The balcony cabins of the Costa Smeralda combine modern living comfort with a private outdoor area and a magnificent view of the sea. The private balcony invites you to enjoy the fresh sea air and impressive views in a relaxed atmosphere.
The cabins are approx. 17 m² (plus balcony) and offer space for 2 to 4 people. Features include air conditioning, satellite TV, bathroom with shower, hairdryer, safe, as well as a minibar and Wi-Fi for a fee. Some cabins are equipped with separate beds.

Meals

Full board

A total of 11 restaurants on board ensure culinary diversity with specialties from all over the world. These include, among others, a buffet restaurant, the "Pummid’Oro" pizzeria, the Teppanyaki restaurant, the family restaurant "Tutti a Tavola," and the "Laboratorio del Gusto," where selected dishes can be prepared yourself (partially for a fee and by reservation). The dining times in the main restaurants are determined by Costa.
The gastronomic offer is complemented by 19 bars and cafés (for a fee), including the Spazio Bollicine by Ferrari Spumante, the Aperol Spritz Bar, the Campari Bar, the sports bar, the Bacaro Veneziano, the Nutella Café, and two Amarillo ice cream parlors. Thus, the Costa Smeralda offers varied culinary moments for every taste.

The MyItalian gourmet package can be added to the full board services. This includes a large selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks for any time of day. These include, among others, cocktails such as Aperol Spritz, Campari Spritz, Negroni, and Martini cocktails, high-quality coffee specialties from Caffè Vergnano, as well as beer, soft drinks, and mineral water.
Also included are selected liqueurs, brandies, and bitters, including Limoncello, Grappa, Averna, and Ramazzotti, as well as Italian red, rosé, and white wines, Prosecco, and Spumante. The offer is rounded off by homemade Italian ice cream and selected culinary specialties. The beverage package ensures varied culinary moments and emphasizes the Italian lifestyle on board the Costa Smeralda.

Sports included

The extensively and modernly equipped fitness center with a magnificent sea view offers ideal conditions for daily training on board. Various cardio and strength machines enable sporting activities in a pleasant atmosphere.
In the outdoor area, a multi-purpose sports field and a jogging track are also available, offering numerous possibilities for movement and sports activities in the open air. This allows activity, relaxation, and holiday experience to be optimally combined on the Costa Smeralda.

Sports for a fee

For additional sports activities, various classes such as Yoga, Pilates, and Kinesis are available in the aerobic studio (for a fee). Furthermore, individual training sessions with professional supervision can be booked in the fitness center (for a fee). This allows your personal fitness program to be designed flexibly even during the cruise.

Children's program

For children and teenagers, the Costa Smeralda offers a varied and age-appropriate leisure program in the popular Squok Kids Club. While the youngest guests can let off steam in the Mini Club (3–6 years) with games and creative activities, the Maxi Club (7–11 years) provides a diverse entertainment and activities program.
For teenagers, the Teen Junior Club (12–14 years) and the Teen Club (15–17 years) are available with age-appropriate activities, games, and meeting points. Thus, young guests find the best conditions to make new friends and spend varied holiday days.
The offer is complemented by a children's paddling pool as well as an entertainment area with video games (for a fee), which provides extra leisure fun on board.

Entertainment

Spectacular shows in the theater, live music, a piano bar, a nightclub, and a casino for guests aged 18 and over ensure varied entertainment. The diverse onboard program offers numerous possibilities for entertaining hours at sea during the day and in the evening.
For relaxation and swimming fun, four pools are available, including an indoor pool area and a separate swimming deck. Special highlights include the Aqua Park with multiple water slides and water attractions as well as the spectacular Skywalk at a height of about 65 meters, which enables impressive views of the sea.

Lucky cabin: When booking a lucky cabin, the desired cabin category (inside, outside, or balcony cabin) is selected, while the assignment of the cabin number and deck is done by Costa.
