Location

The newly built hotel (Summer 2024), situated on a hillside, offers sea views and is easily accessible. Located near the island's capital, San Sebastian, with shopping facilities, a bathing bay, and a restaurant. The port of La Gomera is approximately 5 km away, and the airport is about 34 km away. The rocky beach of Avalo, a small bathing bay with crystal-clear water, is just two kilometers away.

Facilities

The hotel features 276 rooms spread across 3 floors with elevators. The expansive grounds include 5 heatable pools (2 of which are infinity pools and 2 are children's pools), a nudist sun terrace for adults, 4 restaurants (à la carte and buffet), and various bars serving snacks and cocktails ("Támara" snack bar, "Agua Guisada" lobby bar, "Silbo Loungebar", "Guro Showbar", and "Maraire" pool bar), as well as a kids' club, children's playground, billiards room, library, wellness and fitness area, a room for bicycles, parking spaces (including charging stations for electric cars), and halls for events of any kind. Additionally, the complex features an eco-farm.
Wi-Fi is available throughout the hotel free of charge. Relaxation is the top priority here, whether at one of the infinity pools or in the spa. The Bancal Hotel is the ideal starting point for discovering the centuries-old landscapes, enchanting hiking trails, and local traditions of La Gomera. Bancal Double Room Garden View

The approx. 29m² double rooms feature a king-size bed or two single beds (guest preference), a bathroom with shower/WC, hairdryer, cosmetic mirror, coffee machine/kettle, minibar (for a fee), satellite TV, safe, wardrobe, desk, complimentary Wi-Fi, telephone, air conditioning, and a furnished terrace with a direct view of the garden (2GD/3GD).
Also bookable for single occupancy (1GD).

Bancal Double Room Sea View

Equipped the same as the Bancal Double Room Garden View, with additional side sea views (MBB/BDM). Optionally bookable as Type B Bancal Ocean with side sea view (MCB).
Also bookable for single occupancy (MSE).

Junior Suite Sea View

The junior suites are spacious and bright and feature the same basic equipment as the Bancal Double Room Garden View. They have a combined living/sleeping area with a sofa bed and an additional TV. Additionally equipped with a coffee machine, steam iron, welcome gift, and for stays of 5 nights or more, 1 x Spa Water Circuit is included. There is also an additional terrace with sun loungers (J2M).

This room type consists of two Bancal Double Rooms Sea View with a connecting door. It features 2 balconies/terraces (F2M).
