Location

The hotel is situated directly on the small beach cove of Las Coloradas opposite the "Museo Atlantico" underwater museum, between the fishing village of Playa Blanca and the Papagayo beaches on the edge of the nature reserve in the south of Lanzarote.
On clear days, you have an excellent view of the islands of Lobos and Fuerteventura and can watch the impressive sunsets.
The "Marina Rubicon" sports harbor is located about 1 km away.
The town of Playa Blanca can be reached in approx. 3 km.
The Papagayo beaches are approx. 600 m away. The airport is approx. 35 km away.

The Sandos Papagayo Hotel consists of 488 rooms, including 15 junior suites, in a large main building and 7 guest houses.
The main building houses the reception and 4 restaurants, as well as a snack grill in the pool area.
The international buffet restaurant with a terrace offers show cooking and daily specialties; the Italian restaurant "Pizzeria Veneto" is directly attached.
A table reservation is required for the Fusion restaurant, which features a changing buffet (Asian and Tex-Mex).
There are five bars (including a pool bar) as well as a chill-out terrace with magnificent views of Fuerteventura and Lobos.
The resort has 2 freshwater pools for families (1 can be heated in winter), 1 children's pool (can be heated in winter), and 1 freshwater pool exclusively for adults, as well as a spacious sun terrace with free sun loungers, parasols, and towels (pool towels included).
Further amenities include various shops, a souvenir shop, a games room, and a TV room.

All rooms are modernly furnished (approx. 39 m²), very spacious and have a bathroom with a bathtub or shower, a safe (for a fee), a sofa bed (for the 3rd and/or 4th person), a hairdryer, flatscreen TV, telephone, air conditioning, minibar (on request for a fee), coffee/tea-making facilities, and a furnished balcony/terrace. (DSU available year-round/DSB only bookable in summer.)
Optionally also available for single use (DEU) or with a sea view (DMU/DME).

More modern rooms with a direct sea view (approx. 39 m²).
Evening turndown service with bedtime chocolates, minibar with water and soft drinks on the day of arrival (subsequent daily refilling with mineral water or still water), 1 bottle of sparkling wine upon arrival.
Pool towels in the room, bathrobe and slippers, candles in the bathroom, sweets and candy for children, Nespresso machine, electric kettle for instant coffee and tea service with refilling (upon consumption).
Safe (included), as well as breakfast and dinner in a private restaurant with table drink service.

Breakfast, lunch, and dinner in buffet style. 24-hour service included. Hot and cold snacks, water, soft drinks, wine, and beer available from 11 PM to 8 AM only at the snack pool bar. All precise times can be found in the hotel's information book on-site. Coffee, tea, and cake from 4 PM to 6 PM. Local alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks included from 10 AM to 11 PM.
Royal Elite buffet restaurant is exclusive to Royal Elite guests with table drink service.
