Location

The 160-hectare luxury oasis, The Ritz-Carlton Tenerife, Abama, is situated amidst banana plantations on the west coast of Tenerife in Guia de Isora, approximately 35 km from the Reina Sofia international airport. Thanks to its advantageous location on the gently sloping hills of the Pico del Teide volcano, you have a fantastic view of the Atlantic Ocean and the neighboring island of La Gomera. The resort blends harmoniously into the natural surroundings with its unique architecture; it is located directly on an 18-hole golf course, and below the hotel, there is a 200 m long white sandy beach.

The five-star deluxe complex belongs to The Ritz-Carlton hotel chain. The main building was constructed in the shape of a Moorish citadel featuring 318 rooms and suites, while the exclusive "The Retreat" accommodations located in the gardens offer an additional 144 rooms and suites.
"The Retreat" is arranged in a terraced layout, with each level featuring its own pool.
For the internationally renowned architect Melvin Villarroel, the integration of architecture and vegetation with Feng Shui components was of great importance.
The hotel features a lobby bar, a café, and 8 restaurants, including the gourmet restaurant "M.B," managed by seven-star chef Martin Berasategui and awarded two Michelin stars, and Spain's first "Akira Back" restaurant, known for its modern Japanese cuisine, supported by award-winning head chef Akira Back, as well as various themed restaurants, including the Italian restaurant "Verona" and the Spanish restaurant "Txoko" by star chef Martin Berasategui.
In the subtropical garden landscape with 90,000 palm trees and around 300 different plant species, there are a total of 7 freshwater swimming pools (including the new Serenity Pool for ages 13 and up), an exclusive sandy beach, 2 natural seawater rock pools, and a beach club.
Sun loungers, pads, parasols, and bath towels are included at the pool and the hotel's own beach section.

Breakfast/Half board

Breakfast buffet at the "La Veranda" restaurant; for guests of the Retreat rooms, also available at "El Mirador."
When booking half board or full board, guests aged 4 and over receive a resort credit, which can be used in all restaurants (varying opening hours).
Children aged 6 and over are welcome to dine in the "M.B." and "Akira Back" restaurants.
The resort credit cannot be used for room service or drinks; unused credit is non-refundable, non-transferable, and will be forfeited.
