Location

Located in the pedestrian area, just a few minutes' walk from the centre with the popular "Plaza del Charco" and approx. 600 m from the saltwater swimming pools. As the hotel is situated in the pedestrian zone, the transfer bus cannot drive directly to the hotel entrance. A short distance (approx. 50 m) must be covered on foot. San Telmo is approx. 100 m away.

Hotel Monopol is different; it features a local style and the charm of days gone by. The hotel has been managed by the same family for over 75 years and offers all modern comforts. It is spacious enough so that no one needs to feel crowded, yet small enough to continue in its original style, true to the motto: "Turning guests into friends."
The façade welcomes you with Canarian wooden balconies. Passing the reception, you reach a typical courtyard that invites you to linger. Surrounded on all sides by hand-carved verandas, palm trees grow there and tropical climbing plants wind their way up to the glass roof that covers everything.
The hotel has a total of 92 rooms, 170 beds, a Canarian palm hall, lounges, games and TV rooms, a restaurant, and 2 bars. The outdoor area includes a swimming pool (25º), a whirlpool (35º), and 3 sun terraces.
