Location

Owned privately since 1998 and a member of 'Leading Hotels of the World', the hotel overlooks Teide and the romantic ocean, situated in the "La Paz" villa district of Puerto de la Cruz, in close proximity to the Botanical Garden. From the hotel, guests enjoy magnificent views of the Atlantic with its picturesque coastlines, the Orotava Valley, and Teide.
Hotel Botánico is surrounded by a beautiful park area of 25,000 m².
The center of Puerto de la Cruz and the beach are only a few minutes away; the hotel offers a complimentary shuttle service to both.
The renowned Loro Parque, home to the world's largest parrot collection and a penguinarium, among other attractions, is owned by the same proprietor as the hotel, is easily accessible, and is a must-visit for any tourist itinerary.

The hotel will undergo partial renovation in 2025 and features 212 comfortable Deluxe rooms and suites. The buildings are divided into a family area and an adults-only area; all hotel services are equally available to both sections. The spacious lobby connects to the breakfast area with lovely garden views and a terrace, and includes a permanent exhibition of paintings by Canarian artists, boutiques, a reading corner with a library, and a billiards room. Amidst the subtropical gardens, there is 1 heated freshwater pool with loungers, umbrellas, and cushions, and a separate children's pool. Integrated directly into the hotel's garden complex is an 18-hole putting green covering 5,000 m², with a bunker and driving range (for a fee). In addition to the "Palmera Real" pool bar/snack restaurant, there are 4 à la carte restaurants to choose from: "The Oriental" with Oriental cuisine, "Il Pappagallo" with Italian/Mediterranean cuisine, "La Parrilla" with Spanish cuisine, and "Brunelli's Steakhouse" in Puerto de la Cruz. Guests with half board receive a credit of €25 per person at Brunelli's, and the transfer is provided by the hotel.
The hotel also offers professional facilities for events and incentives.

The comfortably and elegantly furnished double rooms (approx. 30m²) are equipped with two beds or a double bed, a furnished balcony, free high-speed Wi-Fi and telephone (for a fee), individually controlled air conditioning, minibar (for a fee), Smart TV, remote control, digital safe (free of charge), elegant bathroom with separate shower and bathtub with bathrobe, slippers, and hairdryer. They offer garden views (DGD). Also available for single use (G1Y).

Superior Double Room - Adults Only

Bookable for guests aged 16 and over.
The approximately 45m² renovated rooms are located on the first floor of the hotel and feature a king-size bed or 2 twin beds (customer request), a sofa bed, a 49'' Smart TV, a tea and coffee set, a bathroom with shower/WC, and a dressing room connected to the bathroom, as well as a balcony.
The rooms are bookable with Teide view (DTU) or sea view (DMU).
From 1.4.26, rooms with Teide view are also available as type B, bookable with half board only (B2T), or with sea view (UMB).
Optionally available for single occupancy (E1T/DME).

Ambassador Junior Suite

Same amenities as the Deluxe Spa View Double Rooms.
With approximately 47m², they are particularly spacious and elegantly furnished, featuring a larger bathroom with a separate shower and bathtub, a trouser press, a dressing room, a cozy seating area, and a Nespresso coffee machine.
They also have a furnished balcony with views of the spa or garden (AJ2).

Penthouse Suite - Adults Only

Bookable for guests aged 16 and over.
These suites are equipped similarly to the Penthouse Double Rooms but feature a living room and a separate bedroom. The rooms are approximately 83m² and have a private terrace (approx. 68m²).
They also include a luxurious wooden dressing room. The large bathroom is made of Italian marble (PHS).

Senator Suite - Adults Only

Bookable for guests aged 16 and over.
These suites are approximately 68m² and feature oriental influences.
They include a separate living and sleeping area, divided by a door. With a furnished balcony or terrace, Nespresso capsule machine (daily refill), pillow selection, 24-hour room service (for a fee), two 55" Smart TVs, a safe, and daily access to the spa's thermal circuit. They also have air conditioning, a bathrobe, and slippers. These rooms offer Teide views (2TS).

The "Royal Golf Club of Tenerife-El Peñón," founded in 1932 with a par of 71, is just 15 minutes from the hotel.

Daily free entry (for guests aged 16 and over) to the 3,500 m² Oriental-inspired spa "The Oriental Spa Garden," which has been awarded Best Spa in Europe by 'Condé Nast' multiple times. Facilities include thermal pools with experience showers, aromatherapy zone, ice grotto, hammam, Oriental laconicum, Japanese sauna, cardiovascular fitness room, whirlpools, indoor pool (34°C), and outdoor pool (28°C) with hydromassage. The health treatments and beauty programs (for an extra charge and prior reservation) with special massages in 20 treatment rooms are based on the diversity of Asia, the volcanic origins of the Canary Islands, and the practices of the world's most successful spa centers.
