Inside cabin

The modern and functionally furnished inside cabins of the Costa Smeralda offer a comfortable ambiance for restful days at sea. Features include air conditioning, interactive satellite TV (pay-TV for a fee), bathroom with shower and WC, hairdryer, safe, minibar (for a fee), and Wi-Fi (for a fee).
With a size of approx. 13 m², the inside cabins offer space for up to four people. Depending on cabin location and category, some twin beds are available. The well-thought-out design ensures a pleasant atmosphere and high living comfort throughout the entire cruise.

Outside cabin

The outside cabins of the Costa Smeralda have a large window or some portholes and offer a beautiful sea view. With a size of approx. 20 m², the oceanview cabins offer space for 2 to 4 people (some twin beds). Features include air conditioning, satellite TV, bathroom with shower, hairdryer, safe, and minibar and Wi-Fi for a fee. The well-thought-out design and the spacious feel make the outside cabin a comfortable retreat during the cruise.

Balcony cabin

The balcony cabins of the Costa Smeralda combine modern living comfort with a private outdoor area and a magnificent view of the sea. The private balcony invites you to enjoy the fresh sea air and impressive views in a relaxed atmosphere.
The cabins are approx. 17 m² (plus balcony) and offer space for 2 to 4 people. Features include air conditioning, satellite TV, bathroom with shower, hairdryer, safe, and minibar and Wi-Fi for a fee. Some cabins are equipped with twin beds.

Meals

Full board

On board, a total of 11 restaurants provide culinary variety with specialties from all over the world. These include, among others, a buffet restaurant, the pizzeria "Pummid’Oro," the Teppanyaki Restaurant, the family restaurant "Tutti a Tavola," as well as the "Laboratorio del Gusto," where selected dishes can be prepared yourself (partly for a fee and with reservation). Meal times in the main restaurants are set by Costa.
The gastronomic offer is complemented by 19 bars and cafés (for a fee), including the Spazio Bollicine by Ferrari Spumante, the Aperol Spritz Bar, the Campari Bar, the sports bar, the Bacaro Veneziano, the Nutella Café, as well as two Amarillo ice cream parlors. In addition to the full board services, the MyItalian indulgence package can be booked. This includes a large selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks for any time of day. These include, among others, cocktails such as Aperol Spritz, Campari Spritz, Negroni, and Martini cocktails, high-quality coffee specialties from Caffè Vergnano, as well as beer, soft drinks, and mineral water.
Also included are selected liqueurs, brandies, and bitters, including Limoncello, Grappa, Averna, and Ramazzotti, as well as Italian red, rosé, and white wines, Prosecco, and Spumante. Children's program

For children and teenagers, the Costa Smeralda offers a varied and age-appropriate leisure program in the popular Squok Children's Club. While the youngest guests can let off steam in the Mini Club (3–6 years) with games and creative activities, the Maxi Club (7–11 years) provides a diverse entertainment and activity program.
For teenagers, the Teen Junior Club (12–14 years) as well as the Teen Club (15–17 years) are available with age-appropriate activities, games, and meeting points. Thus, young guests find the best conditions to make new friends and spend varied holiday days.

Location

The renovated Alua Tenerife Hotel is located in Puerto de la Cruz. The town center is approx. 1 km away, and the volcanic sand beach Playa Jardin, a work of the artist Cesar Manrique, is about a 2-minute walk away (approx. 150m). Tenerife North Airport is approx. 25 km away, and Reina Sofia Airport is approx. 80 km away.
You can reach the world-famous Loro Parque after approx. 10 minutes on foot.

Facilities

The extensively renovated family hotel has 424 rooms on 5 floors, which can be reached via 6 elevators. Furthermore, the building has a panoramic elevator that goes to the top floor, where there is a terrace with an impressive view over the city and the coast. The hotel's facilities also include a reception and 2 conference rooms.
