Inside cabin

The modern and functionally furnished inside cabins of the Costa Smeralda offer a comfortable setting for relaxing days at sea. Features include air conditioning, interactive satellite TV (pay-TV for a fee), bathroom with shower and WC, hairdryer, safe, minibar (for a fee), and Wi-Fi (for a fee).
Measuring approximately 13 m², the inside cabins offer space for up to four people. Depending on the cabin location and category, some may have separate beds. The well-thought-out design ensures a pleasant atmosphere and high living comfort throughout the cruise.

Outside cabin

The outside cabins of the Costa Smeralda feature a large window or, in some cases, portholes and offer a beautiful sea view. Measuring approx. 20 m², these oceanview cabins offer space for 2 to 4 people (some with separate beds). Balcony cabin

The balcony cabins of the Costa Smeralda combine modern living comfort with a private outdoor area and a magnificent view of the sea. The private balcony invites you to enjoy the fresh sea air and impressive views in a relaxed atmosphere.
The cabins are approx. 17 m² (plus balcony) and offer space for 2 to 4 people. Features include air conditioning, satellite TV, bathroom with shower, hairdryer, safe, as well as a minibar and Wi-Fi for a fee. Some cabins are equipped with separate beds.

Full board

A total of 11 restaurants on board ensure culinary variety with specialties from all over the world. These include, among others, a buffet restaurant, the “Pummid’Oro” pizzeria, the Teppanyaki Restaurant, the family restaurant “Tutti a Tavola,” and the “Laboratorio del Gusto,” where selected dishes can be prepared by oneself (partially for a fee and with reservation). Dining times in the main restaurants are set by Costa.
The gastronomic offerings are supplemented by 19 bars and cafés (for a fee), including Spazio Bollicine by Ferrari Spumante, the Aperol Spritz Bar, the Campari Bar, the sports bar, Bacaro Veneziano, the Nutella Café, and two Amarillo ice cream parlors. In addition to full board, the MyItalian indulgence package can be booked. This includes a wide selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks at any time of the day. These include cocktails such as Aperol Spritz, Campari Spritz, Negroni, and Martini cocktails, high-quality coffee specialties from Caffè Vergnano, as well as beer, soft drinks, and mineral water.
Also included are selected liqueurs, brandies, and bitters, including Limoncello, Grappa, Averna, and Ramazzotti, as well as Italian red, rosé, and white wines, Prosecco, and Spumante. For children and teenagers, the Costa Smeralda offers a varied and age-appropriate leisure program in the popular Squok Children's Club. While the youngest guests can play and enjoy creative activities in the Mini Club (3–6 years), the Maxi Club (7–11 years) provides a diverse entertainment and activities program.
For teenagers, the Teen Junior Club (12–14 years) and the Teen Club (15–17 years) are available with age-appropriate activities, games, and meeting points. This provides young guests with the best conditions to make new friends and spend varied holiday days.

Location

The renovated Hotel Alua Tenerife is located in Puerto de la Cruz. The town center is approx. 1 km away and the volcanic sand beach Playa Jardin, a work of the artist Cesar Manrique, is about 2 minutes' walk away (approx. 150 m). Tenerife North Airport is approx. 25 km away and Reina Sofia Airport is approx. 80 km away.
You can reach the world-famous Loro Parque in about 10 minutes' walk.

Facilities

The extensively renovated family hotel has 424 rooms on 5 floors, which are accessible via 6 elevators. In addition, the building features a panoramic elevator that goes to the top floor, where there is a terrace with an impressive view of the city and coast. The hotel's facilities also include a reception and 2 conference rooms.
