Inside cabin

The modern and functionally furnished inside cabins of the Costa Smeralda offer a comfortable ambiance for relaxing days at sea. Features include air conditioning, interactive satellite TV (pay-TV for a fee), bathroom with shower and WC, hairdryer, safe, minibar (for a fee), and Wi-Fi (for a fee).
With a size of approx. 13 m², the inside cabins offer space for up to four people. Depending on the cabin location and category, some cabins feature separate beds. The well-thought-out design ensures a pleasant atmosphere and high living comfort throughout the entire cruise.

Outside cabin

The outside cabins of the Costa Smeralda have a large window or some portholes and offer a beautiful sea view. With a size of approx. 20 m², the ocean view cabins offer space for 2 to 4 people (some with separate beds). Features include air conditioning, satellite TV, bathroom with shower, hairdryer, safe, and minibar and Wi-Fi for a fee. The well-thought-out design and spacious feeling make the outside cabin a comfortable retreat during the cruise.

Balcony cabin

The balcony cabins of the Costa Smeralda combine modern living comfort with a private outdoor area and a magnificent view of the sea. Your own balcony invites you to enjoy the fresh sea air and impressive views in a relaxed atmosphere.
The cabins are approx. 17 m² (plus balcony) and offer space for 2 to 4 people. Features include air conditioning, satellite TV, bathroom with shower, hairdryer, safe, and minibar and Wi-Fi for a fee. Some cabins are equipped with separate beds.

Meals

Full board

On board, a total of 11 restaurants ensure culinary diversity with specialties from all over the world. These include a buffet restaurant, the pizzeria "Pummid’Oro," the Teppanyaki restaurant, the family restaurant "Tutti a Tavola," and the "Laboratorio del Gusto," where selected dishes can be prepared by guests themselves (partly for a fee and by reservation). Mealtimes in the main restaurants are set by Costa.
The gastronomic offer is complemented by 19 bars and cafés (for a fee), including the Spazio Bollicine by Ferrari Spumante, the Aperol Spritz Bar, the Campari Bar, the sports bar, the Bacaro Veneziano, the Nutella Café, and two Amarillo ice cream parlors. Thus, the Costa Smeralda offers varied moments of enjoyment for every taste.

In addition to full board, the MyItalian enjoyment package can be added. This includes a large selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks at any time of day. These include cocktails such as Aperol Spritz, Campari Spritz, Negroni, and Martini cocktails, high-quality coffee specialties from Caffè Vergnano, as well as beer, soft drinks, and mineral water.
Also included are selected liqueurs, brandies, and bitters, including Limoncello, Grappa, Averna, and Ramazzotti, as well as Italian red, rosé, and white wines, Prosecco, and Spumante. The offer is complemented by homemade Italian ice cream and selected culinary specialties. The beverage package ensures varied moments of enjoyment and underscores the Italian lifestyle on board the Costa Smeralda.

Sports included

The extensively and modernly equipped fitness center with a magnificent sea view offers ideal conditions for daily training on board. Various cardio and strength equipment allow for sports activities in a pleasant atmosphere.
In the outdoor area, a multi-purpose sports field and a jogging track are also available and offer numerous opportunities for movement and sports activities in the open air. Thus, activity, relaxation, and vacation experience can be optimally combined on the Costa Smeralda.

Sports for a fee

For additional sports activities, various classes such as yoga, Pilates, and Kinesis are available in the aerobic studio (for a fee). Furthermore, individual training sessions with professional supervision can be booked in the fitness center (for a fee). Thus, your personal fitness program can be flexibly designed even during the cruise.

Children's program

For children and teenagers, the Costa Smeralda offers a varied and age-appropriate leisure program in the popular Squok children's club. While the youngest guests can let off steam in the Mini-Club (3–6 years) with games and creative activities, the Maxi-Club (7–11 years) offers a diverse entertainment and activity program.
For teenagers, the Teen Junior Club (12–14 years) and the Teen Club (15–17 years) are available with age-appropriate activities, games, and meeting points. Thus, young guests will find the best conditions to make new friends and spend varied vacation days.
The offer is complemented by a children's paddling pool as well as an entertainment area with video games (for a fee), which ensures additional leisure fun on board.

The wellness offer is rounded off by diverse wellness, beauty, and massage treatments that invite you to enjoy relaxing breaks and pure regeneration in a stylish ambiance.

Entertainment

Varied entertainment is provided by spectacular shows in the theater, live music, a piano bar, a nightclub, and a casino for guests aged 18 and over. The diverse on-board program offers numerous opportunities for enjoyable hours at sea during the day and in the evening.
For relaxation and swimming fun, four pools are available, including an indoor pool area and a separate sun deck. Special highlights include the Aqua-Park with several water slides and water attractions as well as the spectacular Skywalk at a height of about 65 meters, which allows for impressive views of the sea.
The leisure offer is rounded off by atmospheric theme nights, interactive events, and other on-board events that ensure sociable hours and unforgettable vacation moments.

Lucky cabin: When booking a lucky cabin, the desired cabin category (inside, outside, or balcony cabin) is selected, but the allocation of cabin number and deck is done by Costa. This can include, among other things, cabins with separate beds, connecting doors, restricted views, or barrier-free cabins. The table time in the main restaurants is also set by Costa.

Location

Located on a small hill, the hotel offers a breathtaking panoramic view of the city.
The saltwater swimming pools and the city center are about 300 m or a 10-minute walk away via stairs or a road. The shops and restaurants in the La Paz district and the Botanical Garden are also accessible after about a 10-minute walk.

This traditional, comprehensively modernized hotel has 220 rooms on nine floors, three elevators, a lobby, lounges (all non-smoking areas), a lobby bar (open in the evening), a swimming pool with snack bar, an impressive bar on the 7th floor with a breathtaking view, and two whirlpools (the "BAR THE TOP"). (This bar is not included in the all-inclusive offer.) There is also a spacious, air-conditioned non-smoking buffet restaurant. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the hotel. Guests can use a small garden with a swimming pool, a solarium, and a sunbathing area (with sun loungers and parasols). The hotel also offers a children's water park with a new infinity pool and a recently opened Splash Bar.
