Location

Situated in the heart of the Playa Dorada hotel zone, the hotel is approx. 100 m from the beach and is located in the immediate vicinity of a golf course. It is approx. 3 km to Puerto Plata. Puerto Plata airport is about a 20-minute drive away.

Facilities

The Adults Only hotel complex with 245 rooms features a reception, 4 bars (including a pool bar, non-alcoholic chill-out bar, night bar, beach bar), main restaurant, 3 à la carte restaurants (seafood restaurant, Chinese cuisine, grill), a snack bar, souvenir shop, fitness center, spa, and theater. Sun loungers and parasols are available at the 3 swimming pools. The pool bar has a seating terrace and the beach bar is partially covered.

In the Caribbean, most rooms are equipped with two queen-size beds (approx. 1.40 x 2m). For an occupancy of 3 adults, no extra beds are placed in the room; this means occupancy: 2 people per bed, even if extra beds are listed on the confirmation!

Seasonal information

During stays between April and December, an increased occurrence of seagrass and algae may occur due to wind, temperature, and currents. In particular, an increased presence of brown algae in the Caribbean is frequently recorded. This impacts the beach and the sea. The hotel management and local authorities are, of course, making every effort to clean affected beach sections in cooperation with municipal administrations. This requires the use of appropriate equipment, which creates a slight background noise.
