The hotel is located directly on the fine sandy beach of Costa Dorada. The transfer time to Puerto Plata Airport is approximately 30 minutes. The center of Puerto Plata is only a 5-minute drive away.

The spacious complex offers 516 rooms in 9 three-story buildings. The hotel has a main restaurant with buffets, offering show cooking in the evening. There are also 3 specialty restaurants (Italian, Mexican, Japanese), a snack bar, a pool bar, and 4 other bars. The extensive gardens feature a pool landscape with a children's pool and a swim-up bar. There is a small shopping center with a souvenir shop and a supermarket. Sun loungers, umbrellas, and beach towels are included by the pool and on the beach.

Double Room

The stylish double rooms with 2 single beds or 1 king-size bed have a bathroom with shower and toilet, air conditioning, ceiling fan, telephone, cable TV, iron and ironing board, safe (free of charge), minibar (beer, soft drinks included), and a balcony or terrace (D/DE/KD). Bookable as Premium Room from November 1, 2023 (PR1/PR2).
For an additional charge, also available with sea view (DM) bookable as Premium Ocean View (PVO) from November 1, 2023, or with a pool view (DP) bookable as Premium Pool View (PPD) from November 1, 2023. Also bookable as Premium Tropical View from November 1, 2023 (PTZ).

Superior Double Room

Equipped like the double rooms, these are located in a quieter area of the hotel and close to the beach (DSU). Bookable as Premium Near Beach from November 1, 2023 (BPN).

Junior Suite Ocean Front

The junior suites feature a king-size bed or two double beds, are located directly on the beach, and have a sea view. They also include an iron/ironing board, coffee machine, bathrobe, balcony, bathroom with bathtub, and access to the spa's hydrotherapy area (2JO).

Family Room

The family rooms have the same amenities as the double rooms, consisting of two double rooms with a connecting door and two balconies. The complimentary childcare service is available until 10 PM (DF2).

Note

In the Caribbean, most rooms are equipped with two queen-size beds (approx. 1.40 x 2m). If the occupancy is 2 adults + 1/2 children/3 adults, no extra beds will be placed in the room, meaning occupancy is 2 people per bed, even if extra beds are listed on the confirmation!

Seasonal information

During stays between April and December, increased seaweed and algae may occur due to wind, temperature, and currents. In particular, brown algae are often more prevalent in the Caribbean during this period. The beach and sea may be affected. The hotel management and local authorities are naturally endeavoring to clean affected beach sections in cooperation with the municipal administrations. However, this requires the use of appropriate equipment, which can cause some noise.
