Location

The beautiful resort is located opposite the enchanting islands of Saona and Catalina and covers an area of 25,000 m², just a few steps away from the beaches of the region. Punta Cana airport is approximately 50 minutes away by car.

The hotel complex spans a total area of over 25,000 m² and offers 403 comfortably furnished rooms. In addition to a variety of specialty restaurants ("Bambu" - oriental cuisine, "Il Palco" - Italian cuisine, "Viva Mexico" - Mexican cuisine, "25" specialty restaurant, "Palito de Coco" specialty restaurant, "La Roca" - Mediterranean cuisine in buffet style, Viva Café - International, Atlantis (seafood restaurant by reservation), Fusion Latino, Café Dominicus, Tiki Bar, Crêperie), the resort also features a boutique, a souvenir shop, a jeweler, a spa, a fitness room, a sauna, a hot tub, and a beauty salon (for a fee). Furthermore, guests have access to the "Viva Diving" center, a theater, and an air-conditioned disco. The beautiful pool area offers a separate children's pool, a hot tub, and a pool bar. The rooms feature 2 queen-size or 1 king-size bed, bathroom with shower, hairdryer, air conditioning, telephone, ironing board and iron, 32" LCD cable TV, mini-fridge (restocked only upon arrival), rental safe, and a balcony or terrace with garden view (DSU/DEU/KDS/UK2). With the same facilities as the Superior rooms, these rooms are more modern and feature a 48" LCD cable TV (HG2/HG1).

In the Caribbean, most rooms are equipped with two queen-size beds (approx. 1.40 x 2m). For an occupancy of 2 adults + 1/2 children/3 adults, no extra beds are provided in the room; this means: 2 people per bed, even if extra beds are listed on the confirmation!

Seasonal information

For stays between April and December, there may be an increased occurrence of seagrass and algae due to wind, temperature, and currents. In particular, an increased presence of brown algae in the Caribbean is frequently recorded during this time. This can affect the beach and the sea. The hotel management and local authorities are, of course, endeavoring to clean affected beach sections in cooperation with municipal authorities. However, this requires the use of appropriate machinery, which causes a certain level of noise.
