The modern and elegantly furnished hotel is located directly on the beautiful sandy beach in Juan Dolio, about 40 minutes from the city of Santo Domingo. Las Américas Airport is about 20 minutes away, and Punta Cana Airport is about 90 minutes away.

Deluxe Double Room

The modern double rooms are well-suited for families and overlook the hotel's tropical garden. They are equipped with 2 queen-size beds, a shower/toilet with 2 sinks, satellite TV, hairdryer, minibar, safety deposit box (rental fee), telephone, air conditioning, and coffee maker (DD2/DD1).

Superior Double Room

Same amenities as the double rooms, with a balcony, but are slightly smaller and have only one sink (DSU/DEU).

Club Essentia Garden

Features garden views and a complimentary safe. Additionally, towels for the exclusive pool area for Essentia guests are provided. A private check-in lounge, room service, premium drinks, a 30-minute massage, access to the Essentia Lounge, and a Santo Domingo Colonial City Tour (for stays of at least 4 days) are also included (C2E/C1E). Also bookable as Ocean View (COZ).

Adults Only Double Room

These rooms, otherwise equipped the same as the double rooms, are located in the adults-only area with an exclusive Jacuzzi and pool. Additionally, the minibar is replenished daily. Guests receive a 15-minute massage for stays of 4 days or more (SAO).

Swim Out

With the same amenities, featuring a private outdoor terrace and pool access (2SO).

Essentia Swim Out

With the same amenities, these rooms are located near the beach and offer access to the swimming pool. In addition to the standard amenities, they include a tour of the colonial city of Santo Domingo (E2S).

In the Caribbean, most rooms are equipped with two queen-size beds (approx. 1.40 x 2m). If booked for 2 adults + 1/2 children or 3 adults, no extra beds will be placed in the room; this means occupancy is 2 people per bed, even if extra beds are listed on the confirmation!

Seasonal information

During stays between April and December, increased occurrences of seaweed and algae may occur due to wind, temperature, and currents. In particular, brown algae are often more prevalent in the Caribbean during this period. This can affect the beach and sea. The hotel management and local authorities are of course making efforts to clean affected beach sections in cooperation with municipal administrations. However, this requires the use of equipment, which may cause some noise.
