Location

The resort is located in the Playa Bávaro region, about 720 m from the beach and is situated directly on the boulevard of the Lopesan Costa Bávaro. The international airport of Punta Cana is only about 18 km away and ensures a short, pleasant journey. La Romana airport is about 50 km away. A bus stop is easily accessible in about 1 km.

Facilities

The Lopesan Splash Cove Resort, Spa & Casino, opened in 2026, is nestled in an approximately 110,000 m² tropical garden. The modern, open-plan complex with a five-story main building and elevators impresses with short distances and a versatile offer for families with children of all age groups. A special highlight is the spacious pool and water landscape with lagoon pool, several cenote pools, wave pool, and the Splash Island water park with slides and water features. The offer is complemented by spacious sun terraces with sun loungers and parasols as well as complimentary towels at the pools and on the beach. Culinarially, guests enjoy a large selection of restaurants and bars, including an international buffet restaurant and several à la carte restaurants with Brazilian, Italian, Mexican, Thai, Nikkei, and Indian cuisine. Family JS Tropical-Queen

The Family Junior Suites offer an open-plan living concept of approx. 54 m², equipped with a queen-size bed, sofa bed, and a cozy seating area. The balcony or terrace opens up a wonderful view of the tropical garden landscape and invites you to linger. Further equipment includes air conditioning, minibar (small refrigerator), combined coffee/tea maker, smart TV (50"), telephone, radio, safe, dressing area as well as iron and ironing board. The modern bathroom has a toilet, single sink, walk-in shower, hairdryer, and cosmetic mirror (2KQ). Also bookable with a king-size bed and sofa bed (FJK).

Family JS Pool View-Queen

With the same equipment, also bookable with a view of the pool area. Either with a queen-size bed (YO2) or with a king-size bed (FJP).

Seasonal information

During a stay between April and December, there may be an increased occurrence of seagrass and algae due to wind, temperature, and currents. In particular, an increased occurrence of brown algae is frequently recorded in the Caribbean during this time. The beach and sea are impaired by this. The hotel management and local authorities are, of course, making every effort to clean affected beach sections in cooperation with the municipal administrations. However, the use of appropriate equipment, which emits a slight level of noise, is necessary for this.
