The hotel has 272 rooms spread across the four-story main building. You can escape the daily grind on the fine sandy beach. The hotel leaves nothing to be desired when it comes to the culinary needs of its guests. It offers 2 buffet restaurants and 5 à la carte restaurants. The hotel also features several bars, an internet corner, a nightclub, an amphitheater, and a small shopping center. The large pool area with 3 pools is situated in the beautifully landscaped tropical garden. Sun loungers and towels at the pool and beach are free of charge.

Here, guests are handed refilled bottles directly; there are no drinking water fountains in the public areas.
The hotel uses the Winnow system to reduce food waste and 3R equipment for waste management.
Guests staying in the Bávaro complex can visit the Coral Lab to see corals and learn more about them, thanks to the two coral nurseries in front of the hotel where we work with our scientific team to restore the reefs.
The hotel has its own composting facility. Organic waste is converted into compost, which we can use for our gardens.
We are part of the country's national mangrove restoration program, and in the Bávaro complex, we have planted more than 19,000 mangroves donated by the Ministry of Environment.
Beehives are rescued and taken to the apiary we have in the complex, which can be visited by all guests.
In collaboration with the National Aquarium, the Institute for Environmental Law of the Dominican Republic, and the Blue Flag program, the National Aquarium rescues turtles. Once they have reached an appropriate size and health, they are released on the beaches of the Iberostar hotels.

Seasonal information

During stays between April and December, there may be an increased occurrence of seagrass and algae due to wind, temperature, and currents. In particular, brown algae is frequently encountered in the Caribbean during this time. This can affect the beach and the sea. The hotel management and local authorities naturally strive to clean affected beach sections in collaboration with the municipal administrations. However, this requires the use of appropriate machinery, which may cause a slight noise level.
