The hotel complex of the Whala! hotel group is located approx. 100 meters from the fine, white sandy beach. Cortecito is approx. 5 minutes away, and nearby you will find a small plaza with a bakery, shops, restaurants, and bars. Punta Cana International Airport is approx. 20 km away.

Facilities

The holiday complex consists of three areas with different room types and offers its guests a reception area with 24-hour reception, a buffet restaurant, a specialty restaurant (Japanese, for an additional charge), a beach restaurant/beach bar, and 2 bars (sky bar for an additional charge). In the well-kept tropical gardens, there is a sun terrace with 3 swimming pools, 2 pool bars (both for an additional charge), and a beach bar. Sun loungers, parasols, and beach towels are included at the pool and beach.

Seasonal information

During a stay between April and December, there may be an increased occurrence of seagrass and algae due to wind, temperature, and currents. In particular, an increased presence of brown algae is frequently recorded in the Caribbean during this time. This can affect the beach and the sea. The hotel management and local authorities naturally strive to clean the affected beach sections in cooperation with the municipal administrations. However, the use of appropriate equipment is necessary for this, which may cause a certain level of background noise.
