The Checkin El Cortecito Beach is located directly on the beach in the lively El Cortecito district within the Bávaro holiday area. Its immediate proximity to the sea as well as numerous restaurants, bars, and small shops offers the ideal conditions for a varied holiday. Punta Cana Airport can be reached in about 25 minutes by car.

In the Caribbean, most rooms are equipped with two queen-size beds (approx. 1.40 x 2m). For an occupancy of 2 adults + 1/2 children or 3 adults, no extra beds will be placed in the room. This means the occupancy is 2 persons per bed, even if extra beds are listed on the confirmation!

There is no classic restaurant. An à la carte breakfast is offered in the morning (7 a.m. – 10 a.m.). In addition, the Mojito Bar (9 a.m. – 10 p.m.) invites guests to relax with refreshing drinks.

Seasonal information

During stays between April and December, increased occurrences of seagrass and algae may occur due to wind, temperature, and currents. In particular, a frequent accumulation of brown algae in the Caribbean can be observed during this time. This may impact the beach and the sea. The hotel management and local authorities are, of course, making every effort to clean affected beach sections in cooperation with the municipal authorities. However, the use of appropriate equipment is necessary for this, which causes a slight level of noise.
