Location

The resort is located in the Playa Bávaro region, approximately 720 m from the beach and situated directly on the boulevard of the Lopesan Costa Bávaro. Punta Cana International Airport is just 18 km away, ensuring a short and pleasant arrival. La Romana Airport is located about 50 km away. A bus stop is easily accessible within about 1 km.

Facilities

Opened in 2026, the Lopesan Splash Cove Resort, Spa & Casino is nestled within an approximately 110,000 m² tropical garden. The modern, open-plan facility features a five-story main building with elevators, offering easy access and a versatile range of amenities for families with children of all ages. A special highlight is the spacious pool and water landscape, featuring a lagoon pool, several cenote pools, a wave pool, and the Splash Island water park with slides and water features. The offering is complemented by expansive sun terraces with loungers and parasols, as well as complimentary towels at the pools and the beach. For dining, guests can enjoy a wide selection of restaurants and bars, including an international buffet restaurant and several à-la-carte restaurants serving Brazilian, Italian, Mexican, Thai, Nikkei, and Indian cuisine. The resort borders directly on the "Boulevard," which is shared by all Lopesan resorts and delights guests with diverse recreational opportunities such as a theater, disco, casino, bowling alley, spa, beauty salon, further gastronomic highlights including two restaurants (e.g., the Teppanyaki), a sports bar, coffee shop, the Baco Wine Cellar (for a fee), an English pub, and an ice cream parlor.

Family JS Tropical-Queen

The Family Junior Suites offer an open-plan concept of approx. 54 m², equipped with a queen-size bed, a sofa bed, and a cozy seating area. The balcony or terrace offers a wonderful view of the tropical garden landscape and invites you to relax. Further amenities include air conditioning, a minibar (small refrigerator), a combined coffee/tea maker, a Smart TV (50"), a telephone, a radio, a safe, a dressing area, as well as an iron and ironing board. The modern bathroom features a toilet, single vanity, walk-in shower, hairdryer, and vanity mirror (2KQ). Also available to book with a king-size bed and sofa bed (FJK).

Family JS Pool View-Queen

With the same features, also bookable with a view of the pool area. Either with a queen-size bed (YO2) or a king-size bed (FJP).

With otherwise identical features, the Family Junior Suites Swim Up offer approx. 56 m² of living space as well as a private terrace with direct access to the communal pool (FJU). Also bookable with a king-size bed and sofa bed (FSU).
Rooms with direct pool access represent an increased safety risk for small children. For this reason, for safety reasons, Schauinsland-Reisen requires a minimum age of 6 years for children when booking these room types.

In the Caribbean, most rooms are equipped with two queen-size beds (approx. 1.40 x 2m). For an occupancy of 2 adults + 1/2 children/3 adults, no additional beds are placed in the room; meaning occupancy: 2 persons per bed, even if extra beds are listed on the confirmation!

Seasonal information

During a stay between April and December, an increased occurrence of seagrass and algae may occur due to wind, temperature, and currents. In particular, an increased influx of brown algae in the Caribbean is frequently observed during this time. This may affect the beach and the sea. The hotel management and local authorities are, of course, making efforts to clean the affected beach sections in cooperation with the municipal authorities. However, the use of appropriate equipment is necessary for this, which may cause a slight background noise.
