The Dreams Onyx Resort & Spa is a 5-star luxury resort hotel with a total of 806 luxuriously appointed suites. The property features an air-conditioned lobby, an expansive pool landscape with several swimming pools (two of which are exclusively for the Preferred Club, one of them Adults Only), a children's pool, 1 buffet restaurant, 6 à-la-carte gourmet restaurants, 11 bars (three of which are exclusively for the Preferred Club), a snack grill, a burger restaurant, Coco Cafe, and an ice cream parlor. Junior Suite Garden View

The Junior Suites (approx. 56 m²) feature one king-size or two queen-size beds, air conditioning, a bathroom with shower, hairdryer, bathrobes and slippers, a daily restocked minibar with beer, water, and soft drinks, flat-screen TV, coffee and tea-making facilities, iron and ironing board, safe, 24-hour room service, and a furnished balcony or terrace with a whirlpool (J2G/J1G). Also bookable with limited sea view (J2S).

Junior Suite Swim Out

These have the same amenities as the Garden/Pool View Junior Suites, feature direct pool access, and are located on the ground floor (JSO).
Rooms with direct pool access represent an increased safety risk for young children. Therefore, for safety reasons, Schauinsland-Reisen requires a minimum age of 6 years for children when booking these room types.

Premium Junior Suite Tropical View

Equipped like the Junior Suites, larger (approx. 60 m²), bathroom with separate shower and WC. The rooms are located closer to the Family Fun Pool (T2Y). Also bookable with pool view (V2O).

Preferred Club Junior Suite Pool View

The Preferred Club Junior Suites feature the same amenities plus the following additional benefits: personal check-in and check-out, two Preferred Club lounges, two private pools (one of which is Adults Only), pillow menu, extended minibar and room service menu, pool concierge & bar service (JPV). Also bookable with side sea view (PCP), Ocean View (Adults Only) (PJO), or Swim-Up Suite (PCZ).

Seasonal information

For stays between April and December, there may be an increased occurrence of seaweed and algae due to wind, temperature, and currents. In particular, sargassum (brown algae) is frequently observed in the Caribbean during this time. This can affect the beach and the sea. The hotel management and local authorities naturally strive to clean the affected beach sections in cooperation with municipal administrations. However, the use of appropriate machinery is required for this, which may cause a slight noise level.
