Location

The W Punta Cana is located directly on the natural, expansive sandy beach of Uvero Alto. The peaceful surroundings make the resort an ideal retreat. Punta Cana International Airport is approximately a 45-minute drive away.

Opened in 2025, this adults-only resort impresses with an exceptional design concept and comprises a total of 340 stylishly designed rooms and suites. The spacious complex offers several restaurants and bars, an impressive infinity pool with the characteristic WET Deck, and a relaxed chill pool with a swim-up bar. The fine sandy beach is immediately adjacent, inviting you to linger. Furthermore, guests have access to a high-quality spa and a modern gym. Sun loungers and umbrellas are available at the pool and beach. Wi-Fi is included throughout the resort.

Premier Tropical View 1King

The modernly furnished rooms (approx. 62 sqm) feature a king-size bed and views of the tropical garden landscape. Standard amenities include a balcony or terrace, air conditioning, Wi-Fi, TV, telephone, safe, desk, iron/ironing board, and a seating area. 24-hour room service, coffee/tea making facilities, complimentary water and soft drinks, and a mix bar (minibar) are included. The bathroom has a separate shower and bathtub, vanity mirror, toiletries, hairdryer, as well as bathrobes and slippers (CAT). Also bookable for a 4-person occupancy with two king-size beds (DTZ).
Rooms with sea view and one or two king-size beds are also available at an additional charge (2GX/2PO).

Equipped like the Premier Rooms, with the addition of a terrace and direct access to an exclusive private pool (U2P).

Deluxe 1King Swim Up

With otherwise identical amenities, the Deluxe Swim-Up rooms offer direct access to the swim-up pool from the terrace (ASD).
Also bookable for a 4-person occupancy with two king-size beds (2PU).

In the Caribbean, most rooms are equipped with two queen-size beds (approx. 1.40 x 2m). For an occupancy of 2 adults + 1/2 children/3 adults, no additional beds will be placed in the room; this means an occupancy of 2 people per bed, even if extra beds are listed on the confirmation!

The All-Inclusive concept offers high-quality cuisine with 5 restaurants focusing on à la carte offerings and live cooking. Among the restaurants are TRADE Market with international specialties, SCENA with cuisine inspired by Caribbean and Dominican ingredients, the Noodle Bar (Asian), the Outpost Café, and the Satsuma Rooftop with Nikkei cuisine. The Taman Beach Club, in a Mediterranean style during the day, transforms into a beach grill restaurant in the evening, serving meat, fish, and seafood. The offering is complemented by 5 bars, including the Living Room Bar, Plaza Bar, the Taproom, the pool bars, and the speakeasy "33 1/3".

Sports for a fee

Various water sports as well as excursions and activities (external providers). The hotel's own adventure or outpost center assists in organizing individual experiences outside the resort.

Seasonal information

For stays between April and December, an increased presence of seaweed and algae may occur due to wind, temperature, and currents. In particular, brown algae are often observed more frequently in the Caribbean during this period. This affects the beach and the sea. The hotel management and local authorities are, of course, making efforts to clean affected beach sections in cooperation with the local authorities. However, this requires the use of appropriate equipment, which emits a slight noise.
