The Bahia Principe Grand Jamaica is located within a tropical garden complex directly on the fine sandy beach on Jamaica's north coast. The small town of Runaway Bay is just a few minutes' walk away. The airport is approximately 69 kilometers away.

The seven-story hotel has 839 rooms spread across a main building and ten annexes. It offers a wide range of facilities, including a reception, a lobby with a bar, a total of eight elevators, air conditioning, a safe (for a fee), a shop, a discotheque, a casino, a theater, free parking, and currency exchange services. For culinary delights, there are seven restaurants (six air-conditioned, one outdoor) and a snack bar. Guests can unwind with a drink at one of the ten bars. For relaxation and recreation, the hotel offers three pools with integrated whirlpools and a main pool. A swim-up bar provides refreshing drinks directly at the pool. The sun terrace features a solarium, sun loungers, and umbrellas for relaxation. Towel service is available at both the pool area and the beach. A water park for children offers additional fun. Other amenities include a fitness studio, a spa, and free Wi-Fi throughout the hotel.

These Junior Suites (approx. 43 sqm) feature a hydro-massage bathtub, shower, separate toilet, seating area, and a balcony or terrace. They are also equipped with a hairdryer, telephone, air conditioning, safe, TV with international channels, and a minibar (JU2/JU1). Optionally available with sea view (2JM) or Ocean Front (2JO).

Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are served buffet-style. National alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages are available at the open bars from 6 AM to 2 AM. Three times a week, guests can dine at one of the à la carte restaurants, including the Nyam Restaurant, Mikado Restaurant (Japanese), Dolce Vita Restaurant (Italian), Knife Restaurant (Steakhouse), and Don Pablo Restaurant (Gourmet), from 6 PM to 9:30 PM. The Piscis Beach Restaurant offers snacks from 11 AM to 6 PM, and the Round Island Food Market is open from 7 AM to 10:30 AM, 1 PM to 3:30 PM, and 6:30 PM to 10:30 PM.
Appropriate footwear and a cover-up or shirt are required for dinner in the buffet restaurant. A semi-formal dress code applies in the à la carte restaurants. Reservations for à la carte restaurants are required and subject to availability (dinner in one of the à la carte restaurants is included three times per week).
