Location

The hotel is located in El Vedado, just 200 m from the famous "el Malecon" harbor. It is only approx. 6 km from the old town "La Havana Vieja". Havana Airport is about a 20-minute drive away.

The beautiful hotel was built in 1928 and was Havana's first high-rise building at the time. The hotel was completely renovated in 2000. To preserve the clear luxurious style of that era, the entire interior has been elaborately restored. Particularly unique are the over 400 unique artworks from that era, which guests can admire in the "Lobby Museum". The hotel also has a lobby bar, a cafe on the terrace, and 2 restaurants. The swimming pool with sun terrace with loungers and umbrellas (included) and pool/snackbar as well as Balinese beds are located in the garden area.

The tastefully furnished rooms have a bathroom/shower, toilet, hairdryer, telephone, satellite TV, air conditioning, iron, ironing board, minibar (for a fee) and a rental safe. Rooms with sea view are also available for an extra charge.

Note

In the Caribbean, most rooms are equipped with two Queen-size beds (approx. 1.40 x 2m). With a double occupancy of 2 adults + 1/2 children/3 adults, no extra beds will be placed in the room, meaning occupancy: 2 people per bed, even if extra beds are listed on the confirmation!
