Located directly on Kantenah beach near the village of Akumal. Cancun airport is approximately 90 minutes away.

Accommodation

Holiday complex with a total of 264 rooms managed by the renowned Spanish Palladium Hotel Group. Together with the Grand Palladium Kantenah Resort & Spa and Grand Palladium Colonial Resort & Spa, the hotel forms a resort whose facilities can be used jointly (excluding the TRS Yucatan Hotel). Wi-Fi is included in the lobby and in the rooms. Culinary needs are catered for by 9 à-la-carte restaurants (including Italian, Asian, Brazilian), 5 show-cooking restaurants, and 21 bars. A pool landscape with 6 pools adorns the lush gardens. Sun loungers, sun umbrellas, and pool towels are available free of charge at the pool and beach. The hotel facilities also include a souvenir shop, jeweler, hairdresser, doctor, boutique, a shopping arcade (for a fee), and 2 amphitheaters.

Junior Suite

The Junior Suites are approx. 52 m² in size and equipped with one king-size bed or two queen-size beds, a sofa bed, minibar (daily replenishment), tea/coffee set, ironing set, air conditioning, ceiling fan, safe, satellite TV, Wi-Fi (included), telephone, bath and shower, WC. Additionally, there is a whirlpool in the room, a hairdryer, bathrobes, and a balcony (JGB/JGS). Also bookable as Poolside (J2S) and Beachside (BSJ).

Suite

The suites are approx. 67 m² in size and feature a separate bedroom with a king-size bed, a living area with a sofa bed, a whirlpool in the bathroom, and 2 balconies. Otherwise the same equipment as the Junior Suites (GS2).

Overwater Villa Suite

With the same equipment as the suites, these are located directly on the lake and feature a private jetty with a canoe and an outdoor shower. Living room and bedroom on the same level. Bookable for adults only (R2N).

Note

In the Caribbean, most rooms are equipped with two queen-size beds (approx. 1.40 x 2m). For an occupancy of 2 adults + 1/2 children/3 adults, no extra beds are placed in the room; this means: 2 people per bed, even if extra beds are listed on the confirmation!

Dress code: Casual, knee-length shorts required for men in the à-la-carte restaurants. Wearing a wristband is necessary to take advantage of the all-inclusive services. Serving alcoholic beverages to persons under 18 is prohibited. Voltage: 110V. In Mexico, washbasins or bathtubs/whirlpools can be integrated into the general living area of the hotel room without spatial separation.

Smoking ban

Smoking is prohibited in all public places in Mexico. This also applies to public transport, beaches, parks, hotels, and restaurants. Violations can be punished with fines or imprisonment.

Seasonal information

Between April and December, increased occurrences of seaweed and algae may occur due to wind, temperature, and currents. In particular, an increased accumulation of brown algae in the Caribbean is frequently recorded during this time. The beach and sea are affected by this. The hotel management and local authorities are, of course, making every effort to clean affected beach sections in cooperation with the municipal authorities. This requires the use of appropriate machinery, which may cause a slight noise level.
