Location

The resort, particularly suitable for beach vacationers and couples, is located near a fine sandy beach, with Cancun city approximately 18 km away (Playa del Carmen approx. 66 km). A supermarket and further shopping facilities can be reached in about 3 km. The nearest bars and restaurants are about 1 km away. The following attractions are also accessible from the hotel: El Rey Pyramid (approx. 3 km), Xoximilco Park (approx. 18 km), and Xcaret (approx. 73 km). The international airport (CUN) is about 32 km away. A shuttle service operates between the hotel and the airport (for a fee).

Facilities

This beachfront hotel comprises a main building and 11 annex buildings, offering a total of 399 rooms. It is equipped with a 24-hour reception (check-in from 3 PM, check-out until 12 PM), a lobby, air conditioning, a safe (free of charge), a shop, and a car park (free of charge). For your culinary well-being, there are 2 restaurants (air-conditioned). Sun loungers and parasols are available on the beach for a fee.

Accommodation

Deluxe Double Room Sea View

These cozy rooms offer Wi-Fi, TV, telephone, air conditioning, hairdryer, a mini-fridge, two single beds, and a balcony (DDM). Also available as Oceanfront (X2M) upon booking.

Superior Double Room

These rooms are also available for booking and are similarly equipped to the Deluxe rooms, but do not have a specific view (DSU).

King Suite Deluxe

The spacious King Suite Deluxe offers a king-size bed, a sofa, TV, telephone, radio, safe, air conditioning, and a bathroom with a bathtub or shower/toilet and hairdryer. It also features coffee-making facilities and a minibar (for a fee), as well as a balcony or terrace (approx. 40 sqm, KS). Also available as sea-facing (2OK) or with sea view (MSK) upon booking.

Note

In the Caribbean, most rooms are equipped with two queen-size beds (approx. 1.40 x 2m). With a 2 adults + 1/2 children/3 adults occupancy, no extra beds are placed in the room, meaning occupancy is 2 people per bed, even if extra beds are listed on the confirmation!

A tourism tax came into effect on April 1, 2021, and currently amounts to a one-time fee of 224 Mexican Pesos or approximately 11 US Dollars per person, regardless of the planned duration of stay in the country.
The tax can be paid electronically before departure via the following link: http://www.visitax.gob.mx/sitio/
Alternatively, the tax can be paid in cash upon arrival at the airport. In this case, it is advisable to carry the exact amount in Mexican Pesos or US Dollars.

No smoking policy

Smoking is prohibited in all public places in Mexico. This also applies to public transportation, beaches, parks, hotels, and restaurants. Violations can be punished with fines or imprisonment.
