Opened in December 2016, the hotel is located directly on the beach in Playa del Carmen. The transfer time from/to Cancun Airport is approximately 40 minutes.

The generously designed resort consists of 4 hotel sections with a total of 974 junior suites and suites. Furthermore, the hotel features an extensive freshwater pool landscape with five outdoor pools and one children's pool. The spacious Nature View Junior Suite offers space for up to four adults with one king-size bed or two double beds and a sofa bed. Guests can enjoy views of the tropical garden landscape from the furnished terrace. The proximity to the water park and pools makes this room category particularly attractive for families. Amenities include air conditioning, Wi-Fi, a minibar (replenished daily), a coffee machine, a safe, and a bathroom with a rain shower and hydro-massage bathtub. Bookable from 1.11.26 (JU2).

Junior Suite Waterpark Slide

With otherwise identical facilities, these rooms are located just a few steps away from the water park, pools, and entertainment areas (2JY/1JY).

Paradise Junior Suite Nature View

These feature the same equipment but are located in a quieter area of the resort, offering a more relaxed atmosphere. Due to their proximity to restaurants, bars, and other resort facilities, this category combines relaxation with convenient access to the property's amenities.

Privilege Junior Suite

With identical facilities, the room also includes a Nespresso machine and a whirlpool on the terrace, plus the following Privilege services: Daily turndown service, access to the Privilege Lounge with a chill-out zone, access to the spa area with discounts on treatments, separate check-in and check-out, and access to the Privilege sun terrace with Bali beds (J2R).
Extra Privilege Service: Exclusive evening excursion from 6:00 PM to 1:00 AM, including food, drinks, and entertainment at another Ocean hotel. Guests must arrange their own transport. (The Privilege Concierge must be notified by guests 24 hours prior to the excursion).

Seasonal information

During stays between April and December, increased occurrences of seaweed and algae may occur due to wind, temperature, and currents. In particular, frequent accumulation of sargassum (brown algae) is observed in the Caribbean. This may affect the beach and the sea. The hotel management and local authorities naturally strive to clean affected beach sections in cooperation with municipal administrations. However, the use of appropriate machinery is required for this, which may cause a slight noise disturbance.
