The beautiful resort features 424 rooms, a lobby area with a 24-hour reception, 2 buffet restaurants, 7 specialty restaurants (American, Italian, Mexican, Japanese, Brazilian, Mediterranean, Gourmet, and Smokehouse), 7 bars, a boutique, a shopping center with a taco bar and ice cream parlor, and a theater bar. In the outdoor area, surrounded by unique fauna and tropical flora, there is a spacious pool landscape with sun terraces. Sun loungers, umbrellas, and pool towels are available to you free of charge by the pool; loungers and umbrellas are also available on the beach.

The bright and tastefully furnished double rooms feature a combined living/sleeping area, minibar (replenished daily with beer, soft drinks, and water), air conditioning, ceiling fan, safe, Wi-Fi, flat-screen TV, telephone, bathroom with bathtub or shower/WC, hairdryer, and balcony (PR1/PR2). Also bookable as Premium Tropical View with garden view (PTZ/PTE).

DZ Premium Near Pool

Same facilities as the double room, located in a preferred area near the pool (NPS/NSP).

Family Room

The family rooms consist of 2 adjoining double rooms with a connecting door. They feature the same facilities as the Premium Rooms (DF2).

Juniorsuite Near Beach

The junior suites are slightly more spacious, are located near the beach, and are equipped like the Premium Rooms (JNB/JNE).

The Beach Access junior suites have a terrace and are located directly on the beach. They are equipped with a king-size bed or two double beds, minibar, Wi-Fi, bathroom with shower or bathtub, hairdryer, and safe (AJS).

In the Caribbean, most rooms are equipped with two queen-size beds (approx. 1.40 x 2m). For occupancy of 2 adults + 1/2 children/3 adults, no extra beds will be placed in the room; this means occupancy: 2 people per bed, even if extra beds are listed on the confirmation!

Effective immediately, hotels in Mexico will gradually introduce an "Eco-Tax".
As a result, every guest in a Mexican hotel room is required to pay a state-mandated fee locally at the hotel in cash, similar to a tourist tax.

Equipped with the Winnow system to reduce food waste, 3R devices for waste management in the hotels, and installed drinking water fountains.
We have two coral nurseries in front of the complex where our scientific team works on restoring coral reefs.
Together with the community where the Paraíso complex is located, we monitor the hotel beaches for turtle nests, which are then moved to camps set up for this activity.
We maintain mangrove areas in our Paraíso complex that help protect our coastlines and hotels from storms and hurricanes.
Community tourism project in the Riviera Maya: The project takes place in the Caribbean community of Chemuyil in Quintana Roo. It is operated by the cooperative Bejil-Ha Riviera Maya, originally founded by seven passionate locals dedicated to preserving more than 50 cenotes in the region as well as protecting the native flora and fauna of the Yucatán Peninsula. This initiative benefits more than 30 local families and promotes awareness and protection of the area. It offers exclusive itineraries and invites guests to explore the community and its natural surroundings with experienced local guides. The excursions include bicycle tours, visits to cenotes, and a local gastronomic experience.

Smoking ban

Smoking is prohibited in all public places in Mexico. This also applies to public transport, beaches, parks, hotels, and restaurants. Violations can be punished with fines or imprisonment.

Seasonal information

For stays between April and December, there may be an increased occurrence of seagrass and algae due to wind, temperature, and currents. In particular, an increased appearance of brown algae in the Caribbean is frequently recorded. This affects the beach and the sea. The hotel management and local authorities are, of course, striving to clean affected beach sections in cooperation with municipal administrations. However, the use of appropriate equipment is necessary for this, which may produce a slight noise level.
