Location

The hotel complex is located on a approximately 200 m long bay with a white sandy beach in Puerto Aventuras and is bordered by a lagoon on one side. Swimming, snorkeling, and kayaking are possible in the lagoon. There are scattered rocks on the beach and in the sea, and a reef offshore inviting for snorkeling. The width of the beach may vary slightly depending on the season and current conditions. The beautifully landscaped marina with shops, bars, and restaurants is about 700 m away (also within walking distance). Cancun is about 80 km away.

Facilities

The modern complex consists of a main building and several three-/four-story residential buildings. It features a reception with a lobby, boutique, a large theater for evening entertainment, 2 buffet restaurants, 6 specialty restaurants (Mexican, Japanese & Italian, Tapas, Steak House "El Bamboleo", and the exclusive specialty restaurant "Bloved" for Privileged guests, and the beach bar "Pure" for the Privileged area, crêperie, 7 bars, a snack bar, and a fruit bar on the beach. The generously designed pool landscape comprises 5 swimming pools (one exclusively for Privileged guests) with several integrated children's pools and whirlpools. Bath towels, sun loungers, and umbrellas are available by the pool and on the beach.

Rooms feature a king-size or 2 queen-size beds, bath or shower/WC, hairdryer, air conditioning, satellite TV, coffee machine, safe, refrigerator (including water), telephone, and a balcony. (Bookable only in summer).

Privileged Premium Deluxe

These rooms have the same amenities as the double rooms but are renovated, feature a fully stocked minibar, and offer privileged amenities.

10% discount on massages and treatments at Alegria Spa (reservation required), 5 times a week à la carte dinner in one of the themed restaurants, à la carte breakfast, lunch, and dinner at the exclusive BLoved Restaurant, 24-hour room service, exclusive beach lounge and beach area, and a 10% discount on a romantic dinner on the beach.

Premium Room

These rooms are more modern, renovated, and feature an LCD TV, minibar (water, soft drinks, beer - refilled daily), safe (included), iron/ironing board, coffee machine, and 24-hour room service. As of Winter 23/24, also bookable as Premium Deluxe (P2D).

Privileged Romance

These rooms have the same amenities as the Superior double rooms and additionally feature a king-size bed, late check-out, sparkling wine, chocolates, 1 candlelit dinner per stay, 1 couple's massage (30 min.), and special decoration.

Privileged Suite

These suites are larger, offer exclusive Privileged Service, and feature more modern room amenities, a small separate living area, a dressing room, 2 plasma TVs, and a balcony or terrace with a plunge pool.

In the Caribbean, most rooms are equipped with two queen-size beds (approx. 1.40 x 2m). When booked for 2 adults + 1/2 children or 3 adults, no extra beds will be placed in the room, meaning 2 people per bed, even if rollaway beds are listed on the confirmation!

A tourism tax came into effect on April 1, 2021, and currently amounts to a one-time payment of 224 Mexican Pesos or approximately 11 US Dollars per person, regardless of the planned duration of stay in the country.

No smoking policy

Smoking is prohibited in all public places in Mexico. This also applies to public transport, beaches, parks, hotels, and restaurants. Violations can be punished with fines or imprisonment.

Seasonal information

During stays between April and December, an increased presence of seaweed and algae may occur due to wind, temperature, and currents. In particular, an increased occurrence of brown algae in the Caribbean is often observed. This affects the beach and the sea. Hotel management and local authorities are naturally endeavoring to clean affected beach sections in cooperation with municipal administrations. However, this requires the use of appropriate equipment, which may generate some noise.
