Located between the jungle and the Caribbean Sea, this luxury hotel impresses with its modern design and unlimited luxury. Playa del Carmen is about 25 minutes away, the beautiful Bahia Petempich lagoon 15 minutes, and Cancun Airport is approximately 15 minutes away.

Opened in 2016, this adults-only hotel features 362 modern suites and offers its guests a highly comfortable stay. The hotel has a total of 3 pools (Freestyle Pool, Energy Pool, and Xhale Club Pool). The 9 restaurants, including a main buffet restaurant, 5 à la carte restaurants (e.g., Mexican, French, Italian, Asian – no reservation required, as well as communal tables in some restaurants), a beach grill restaurant, and a café, will delight every gourmet's heart. In the beautifully landscaped spa (sauna, steam bath, hydrotherapy circuit, massages, etc.), you can relax and unwind. The hotel also boasts 8 trendy bars, a nightclub, shopping facilities, and a hairdresser.

Xcelerate Junior Suite

In the Caribbean, most rooms are equipped with two queen-size beds (approx. 1.40 x 2m). For occupancy of 2 adults + 1/2 children/3 adults, no extra beds will be placed in the room, meaning occupancy is 2 people per bed, even if rollaway beds are listed on the confirmation!

A tourism tax came into effect on April 1, 2021, and currently amounts to a one-time payment of 224 Mexican Pesos or approximately 11 US Dollars per person, regardless of the planned duration of stay in the country.

Alternatively, the tax can also be paid in cash upon arrival at the airport. It is advisable to carry the exact amount in Mexican Pesos or US Dollars.

Rauchverbot

Smoking is prohibited in all public places in Mexico. This also applies to public transport, beaches, parks, hotels, and restaurants. Violations can be punished with fines or imprisonment.

Saisonhinweis

During stays between April and December, an increased presence of seaweed and algae may occur due to wind, temperature, and currents. In particular, there is often an increased occurrence of brown algae in the Caribbean during this period. This affects the beach and the sea. The hotel management and local authorities are naturally endeavoring to clean affected beach sections in cooperation with the municipal administrations. However, this requires the use of appropriate equipment, which can generate some noise.
