Location

The resort is located approx. 30 minutes by car from Playa del Carmen and approx. 10 minutes by car from the Tulum ruins, directly on the dreamlike, long white sandy beach, by a reef off the coast. Cancun International Airport is approx. 75 minutes away by car. The pyramids of Tulum can be reached in approx. 5 minutes by car.

This resort spoils its guests according to the Unlimited-Luxury® principle and leaves nothing to be desired. The 432 rooms of the resort, built in a typical Mexican style, are spread across several small haciendas located in the extensive tropical garden. For culinary delights, there is the buffet restaurant "World Café", 6 à la carte restaurants (Mediterranean, Asian, Mexican, Steakhouse, Japanese, French (adults only)), snack bar, grill restaurant, and 7 bars. Directly on the long dream beach are 2 of the 5 swimming pools (2x exclusively for Preferred Club guests (one of which is adults-only)), a swim-up bar, children's area, and sun terrace. The hotel also offers the excellently equipped Dreams Spa by Pevonia®, a beauty center (for a fee), and a boutique. Wi-Fi is included.

Deluxe Garden View

The rooms, furnished in colonial style, feature a king-size bed or two queen-size beds, bathroom with shower, hairdryer, cable TV, telephone, Wi-Fi, safe, tea/coffee maker, minibar (daily replenished with beer, soft drinks, water), steamer, ceiling fan, air conditioning, balcony or terrace (DD2/DD1). Also available with sea view (DO2) or in the adults-only area (DDB).

Deluxe Junior Garden View

Same amenities as the Deluxe Garden View rooms, but more spacious (DJG).

Junior Suite

These rooms have the same amenities as the Deluxe rooms, are slightly larger, and additionally feature a bathtub, a seating area with a sofa, and garden views (JS2).

Preferred Club Garden Swim Up

Equipped like the Junior Suite, but with direct pool access and various Preferred Club amenities such as: private check-in/out, concierge service, premium minibar, premium bath amenities, access to the exclusive Preferred Club Lounge and the exclusive Preferred Club beach area. Loungers are not in the adults-only area. (2PU)

Preferred Club Junior Suite Garden View

Equipped like the Junior Suite with various Preferred Club amenities such as: private check-in/out, concierge service, premium minibar, premium bath amenities, access to the exclusive Preferred Club Lounge and the exclusive Preferred Club beach area. Loungers are not in the adults-only area (PCG).

Note

In the Caribbean, most rooms are equipped with two queen-size beds (approx. 1.40 x 2m). For double occupancy with 1/2 children or 3 adults, no extra beds will be placed in the room, meaning occupancy is 2 people per bed, even if extra beds are listed on the confirmation!

In Mexico, sinks or bathtubs/whirlpools may be integrated openly into the main living area of the hotel room without spatial separation.
Effective immediately, hotels in Mexico will gradually introduce an "Eco-Tax".
Consequently, every hotel room user in Mexico is obligated to pay a fee to the state locally at the hotel in cash, similar to a tourist tax.

As of April 1, 2021, a tourism tax came into effect, currently amounting to a one-time payment of 224 Mexican Pesos, or approximately 11 US Dollars per person, regardless of the duration of stay in the country.

No Smoking Policy

Smoking is prohibited in all public places in Mexico. This also applies to public transport, beaches, parks, hotels, and restaurants. Violations can be punished with fines or imprisonment.

Seasonal information

Between April and December, increased seaweed and algae may occur due to wind, temperature, and currents. In particular, an increased presence of brown algae is often observed in the Caribbean during this period. This affects the beach and the sea. The hotel management and local authorities are, of course, endeavoring to clean affected beach sections in cooperation with the municipal administrations. However, this requires the use of appropriate equipment, which may generate some noise.
