Location

The Sultan Bey is located directly on one of the many lagoons of El Gouna on a peninsula. The downtown area as well as numerous restaurants, bars, and shopping opportunities are approx. 300 m away. Surrounded by crystal-clear lagoons and beautiful sandy beaches, a holiday atmosphere is immediate. On the opposite island of Zeytouna, there is the beautiful public sandy beach "Zeytouna Beach" (bathing shoes recommended), which you can reach with the free shuttle boat. A 400 m long jetty, the "Zeytouna Pier," facilitates access to deeper water here. On "Zeytouna Island," the à-la-carte restaurant and sports facilities can be used for a fee. The resort is located approx. 25 km north of Hurghada. Hurghada Airport is approx. 40 km away.

The small and cozy hotel complex is built in the classic Egyptian style. The hotel delights with beautiful courtyards as well as 115 elegantly furnished rooms, which are distributed across the main building and several annexes. The hotel features an inviting lobby with a reception, comfortable seating areas, and a lobby bar. The main restaurant, with a wonderful outdoor terrace overlooking the lagoon, provides for your culinary well-being. In the well-maintained outdoor area, there is a swimming pool (heatable) with an integrated children's pool, as well as sun terraces and the pool/snack bar. Sun loungers, umbrellas, and cushions are included at the pool and at "Zeytouna Beach."

The tastefully furnished Premium Double Rooms (P2D) are equipped with air conditioning, a safe, satellite TV, a telephone, a minibar (for a fee), a shower/WC with hairdryer, a balcony or terrace, and garden view.

The Premium Double Rooms with Lagoon View (L2Z) feature the same amenities as the double rooms, with the addition of a pool or lagoon view.
The rooms are bookable from winter 2025/26.
Also bookable for single use (L1Z).

"Teatime" with tea, coffee, and cake from 3:30-4:30 pm. Local alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks at the currently open bar from 10 am to midnight (partly self-service).
Snacks from 12-4:30 pm at the pool bar.
Only soft drinks are included at the beach bar.
Lunch is offered at the "Zeytouna Beach Bar" as a set menu (choice between burgers, pasta, pizza) with soft drinks.

Dine Around El Gouna

The Dine-Around program allows guests with half-board, full-board, or all-inclusive a special culinary experience. Guests can dine at participating restaurants in other hotels – at no additional cost for the food (drinks excluded).
Depending on the length of stay, guests can use the Dine-Around offer multiple times: 1x from four nights, up to 3x for five to seven nights, and up to 4x for eight or more nights. Guests of 5-star hotels have access to all participating restaurants.
