Location

The Cleopatra Luxury Resort is located directly on the picturesque, expansive sandy beach of Makadi Bay, about 30 kilometers south of Hurghada. This region is a true paradise for divers and snorkelers. As the entry into the sea near the shore is stony, we recommend wearing bathing shoes. A hotel-owned jetty leads over the offshore reef into deeper water, allowing for a comfortable entry into the sea. From there, you can experience the colorful underwater world of the Red Sea up close. The lively city center of Hurghada, with its numerous restaurants, bars, and shops, is located about 35 kilometers away and offers diverse entertainment options. Hurghada International Airport is also only 30 kilometers away, ensuring a convenient arrival.

The sprawling Cleopatra Luxury Resort is idyllically nestled in a spacious garden area. In this magnificent setting, several two- to three-story buildings are distributed, housing a total of 531 comfortably furnished rooms. Guests are welcomed in the friendly and spacious reception hall with a reception desk and lobby bar, which features cozy seating areas to linger in. Culinary delights are provided by the buffet restaurant "Soko," which offers international and local cuisine, as well as two exquisite à-la-carte restaurants: "Vista Mare" with Italian specialties and the "Pool Restaurant" with fresh fish and seafood dishes. An oriental café with a shisha corner and a pub, where cocktails and music create a pleasant atmosphere, round off the gastronomic offerings. At the pool bar, guests can refresh themselves with a variety of drinks, while various small shops on the premises invite you to take a relaxed stroll. In the extensive garden of the resort, there are six beautifully designed swimming pools, one of which can be heated, as well as a separate children's pool and spacious sun terraces. Sun loungers, sun umbrellas, and beach towels are provided to guests free of charge both at the pools and on the beach, so nothing stands in the way of a relaxed day in the sun.

The Superior Double Rooms (DSU) are approx. 35 m² and are equipped with a shower, individually adjustable air conditioning/heating, safe, telephone, flat-screen TV, hairdryer, cosmetic mirror, and minibar, and feature a balcony or terrace with garden view.
Available with a sea view (DMU) or for single occupancy (DEU/UME) at an additional charge.

Premium Deluxe Double Room

The Premium Deluxe Double Rooms (P2D) are renovated and feature the same amenities as the Superior Double Rooms.
Also bookable as renovated Premium Beachfront Double Rooms (PBF) or from Winter 2025/26 with a sea view (P2M).
Also bookable for single occupancy (P1D/PBS).

Family Room

The Family Rooms (DF2) consist of a Superior Double Room and a single room with a connecting door, as well as a living area, and are approximately 77 m².

Junior Suite

The Junior Suites (JS2) feature similar amenities to the Superior Double Rooms but are more spacious (approx. 65 m²) and offer an open living area and a sea view.

Super Saver Room

The Super Saver Rooms (SSZ) are equipped like the Superior Double Rooms, but with limited availability and at a special price.

Early breakfast from 4:00 AM – 7:00 AM, breakfast snack in the lobby bar, breakfast buffet from 7:00 AM – 10:00 AM in the main restaurant, late-riser breakfast from 10:30 AM – 11:30 AM at the pool bar.
Lunch from 12:30 PM – 2:30 PM as a buffet in the main restaurant. Lunch snacks from 12:30 PM – 4:00 PM at the pool bar. In the afternoon from 4:00 PM – 5:00 PM, ice cream and pastries at the pool bar.
Dinner in buffet style with live cooking in the main restaurant from 6:30 PM – 9:30 PM.
A late dinner can be provided upon request from 10:30 PM to 1:00 AM.
Alternatively, one dinner per week is included in one of the à-la-carte restaurants (reservation required, minimum stay 7 nights). The Italian restaurant "Vista Mare Restaurant" is open daily from 6:30 PM – 9:30 PM; the pool restaurant serves fish and seafood and is open daily except Wednesdays and Fridays from 6:30 PM – 9:30 PM.
Local alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks are included around the clock at whichever bar is open.
The lobby bar is open 24 hours, the pub "Vista Mare" from 3:00 PM to 1:00 AM, the pool bar from 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM, and the "Half Way Bar" from 10:00 AM until sunset.
Upon arrival, the minibar is filled once with local soft drinks. Water is refilled daily.

Not included in All Inclusive

Drinks in the disco (every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 10:45 PM – 2:00 AM). The oriental café "Scheherazade" is open from 12:00 PM to 12:00 AM and is also available for an extra charge.

The Cleopatra Luxury Resort offers an impressive variety of sports activities for its guests. Tennis can be played for a fee for equipment and floodlighting. Further sports opportunities include table tennis, a well-equipped fitness room, bocce, basketball, mini-football, volleyball, billiards, and darts.

Sports for a fee

On the beach, there is a water sports station with various offerings, including windsurfing. Additionally, a diving station (Extra-Divers) offers trial diving, diving courses, and much more. For guests who prefer to be active on land, archery is also offered.

Children's program

For our younger guests, the resort offers two covered children's pools (heatable in winter), a playground, and a Kids Club for children aged 4 to 12. A daily mini-disco (except Sundays) provides evening entertainment. In the main restaurant, special children's meals are offered from 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM and from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM, ensuring our young guests are also well catered for culinarily.

The hotel's own "Cleo-Spa" is equipped with three saunas, a whirlpool, relaxation zones, and a large outdoor pool. Guests can book various treatments such as hammam and massages. Additionally, the beauty salon offers a variety of beauty treatments. Access to the spa area is partially subject to a fee, as are massages and other special treatments.

The resort offers a variety of activities and entertainment options for guests of all ages. The dedicated animation team ensures fun and variety with multilingual programs. During the day, guests can enjoy exciting games and sports competitions. In the evening, the resort transforms into a center of entertainment.
