Location

The Cleopatra Luxury Resort is located directly on the picturesque, sprawling sandy beach of Makadi Bay, approximately 30 kilometers south of Hurghada. This region is a true paradise for divers and snorkelers. As the access to the sea near the shore is rocky, wearing swimming shoes is recommended. A hotel-own jetty leads over the offshore reef into deeper water, allowing for convenient entry into the sea. From there, you can experience the colorful underwater world of the Red Sea up close. The lively city center of Hurghada, with its numerous restaurants, bars, and shops, is about 35 kilometers away and offers diverse entertainment options. Hurghada International Airport is also only 30 kilometers away, ensuring a convenient arrival.

The sprawling Cleopatra Luxury Resort is idyllically set within a generous garden area. Several two- to three-story buildings are spread across this magnificent setting, housing a total of 531 comfortably furnished rooms. Guests are welcomed in the friendly and spacious reception hall with a reception desk and lobby bar, featuring cozy seating areas for relaxation. Culinary delights are offered by the buffet restaurant "Soko," which serves international and local cuisine, as well as two exquisite à la carte restaurants: "Vista Mare" with Italian specialties and the "Pool Restaurant" with fresh fish and seafood dishes. An oriental café with a shisha corner and a pub, where cocktails and music create a pleasant atmosphere, complete the gastronomic offerings. At the pool bar, guests can refresh themselves with a variety of drinks, while several small shops on the premises invite for a relaxed stroll. In the resort's extensive garden, there are six beautifully designed swimming pools, one of which is heated, as well as a separate children's pool and spacious sun terraces. Sun loungers, umbrellas, and beach towels are available to guests free of charge at both the pools and the beach, ensuring nothing stands in the way of a relaxing day in the sun.

Double Room Superior

The Superior Double Rooms (DSU) are approximately 35 m² in size and are equipped with a shower, individually adjustable air conditioning/heating, safe, telephone, flat-screen TV, hairdryer, cosmetic mirror, and minibar, and feature a balcony or terrace with a garden view.
Available at an additional charge with sea view (DMU) or for single occupancy (DEU/UME).

Double Room Premium Deluxe

The Premium Deluxe Double Rooms (P2D) have the same amenities as the Superior Double Rooms and have been renovated.
Also available as renovated Premium Beachfront Double Rooms (PBF) or from Winter 2025/26 with sea view (P2M).
Also bookable for single occupancy (P1D/PBS).

Family Room

The Family Rooms (DF2) have the same amenities as the Superior Double Rooms but consist of a double room and a single room with a connecting door, as well as a living area, and are approximately 77 m².

Junior Suite

The Junior Suites (JS2) have similar amenities to the Superior Double Rooms but are more spacious (approx. 65 m²) and offer an open living area and sea view.

Super Saver Room

The Super Saver Rooms (SSZ) are equipped like the Superior Double Rooms, but with limited availability and a special price.

Early breakfast from 4 AM to 7 AM, breakfast snack at the lobby bar, breakfast buffet from 7 AM to 10 AM in the main restaurant, late riser breakfast from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the pool bar.
Lunch from 12:30 PM to 2:30 PM as a buffet in the main restaurant. Lunch snacks from 12:30 PM to 4 PM at the pool bar. In the afternoon from 4 PM to 5 PM, ice cream and pastries at the pool bar.
Dinner buffet with live cooking in the main restaurant from 6:30 PM to 9:30 PM.
A late dinner can be arranged upon request from 10:30 PM to 1 AM.
Alternatively, dinner in one of the à la carte restaurants is included once a week (reservation required, minimum stay 7 nights). The Italian restaurant "Vista Mare Restaurant" is open daily from 6:30 PM to 9:30 PM, the pool restaurant serves fish and seafood and is open daily except Wednesdays and Fridays from 6:30 PM to 9:30 PM.
Local alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages are included around the clock at the respective open bar.
The lobby bar is open around the clock, the pub "Vista Mare" from 3 PM to 1 AM, the pool bar from 9 AM to 7 PM, and the "Half Way Bar" from 10 AM until sunset.
Upon arrival, the minibar is stocked once with local soft drinks. Water is refilled daily.

Not Included in All Inclusive

Drinks in the disco (always Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 10:45 PM to 2 AM). The oriental café "Scheherazade" is open from 12 PM to 12 AM and is also subject to a charge.

Sports for a fee

There is a water sports station on the beach with various offers, including catamarans and windsurfing. Additionally, a diving center (Extra-Divers) offers introductory dives, diving courses, and much more. For guests who prefer land-based activities, archery is also available.

For the little guests, the resort offers two covered children's pools (heated in winter), a playground, and a kids' club for children aged 4 to 12. A daily mini-disco (except Sundays) provides evening entertainment. Special children's meals are served in the main restaurant from 12 PM to 1 PM and from 6 PM to 8 PM, ensuring that even the youngest guests are well catered for culinarily.

The entry visa for all travel services booked with Schauinsland-Reisen is not included in the travel price.
Guests have the option to organize the visa themselves or to purchase it from the Schauinsland-Reisen tour guide upon arrival for €30 (from March 1, 2026, €35) per person.
