Travel information

Combined package including a Nile cruise on the MS Nile Excellence and a beach holiday, including all transfers between locations. Accommodation at the hotel is always provided in the most affordable available room category. Embarkation always takes place on Thursdays. The trip must be started at least one day in advance, as an overnight stay prior to the cruise is mandatory. The next possible embarkation date will always be used.

Notice

The travel package you have selected has a duration of 14 days and includes various individual services. Accommodation on the ship is always provided for seven days according to the program. The pre-cruise and post-cruise stay at the hotel depends on your arrival day and the embarkation day. All transfers between the airport, hotel, and port are included.

In the morning, after breakfast, excursion to Thebes-West to the Hatshepsut Temple (1,2,3) with a viewing of the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3). Visit to the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Afternoon trip to Edfu. Dinner and overnight stay on board.
Day 3:
Morning trip to Kom Ombo.

Facilities

The MS Nile Excellence features a total of 30 modernly furnished outside cabins, distributed over several decks. The reception area is bright and elegantly designed and features a front desk. Let yourself be pampered with culinary delights in the main restaurant and enjoy the cool drinks served by the three bars on board. Furthermore, a small bazaar and a cozy reading corner are available to you. From winter 2024/25, the ship will have a small fitness studio, which is freely accessible to all guests on board. To make your holiday perfect, you can relax on the sun loungers on the sun deck or cool off in the pool and enjoy the dreamlike view of the landscape along the Nile.

Suite

The friendly furnished suites (S2) are approx. 24 m² and feature a shower/WC, hairdryer, two single beds or one double bed, air conditioning (individually adjustable), minibar, safe, TV, telephone (for a fee), seating area, and a French balcony.
Also bookable for single use (1SA).

Royal Suite

The Royal Suites (RS) have the same amenities as the suites, but are larger (approx. 37 m²). The Royal Suites are located on the middle deck and upper deck.
In the Royal Suites, there is also a small table and two chairs on the balcony.

Single Suite

The single suites (S1) are approx. 13 m² and otherwise equipped the same as the suites, but with only one single bed and no seating area.

Economy Suite

The economy suites (S2Z) have the same amenities as the suites but are slightly smaller (approx. 21 m²) and possibly without a French balcony and without a seating area, but with a non-opening window.

The Steigenberger ALDAU Beach Hotel, particularly popular with regular guests, is located in the first beach row in Hurghada on one of the most popular coastal stretches in the region. The spacious facility is located on a 400-meter long private sandy beach with turquoise water. Together with its two Steigenberger sister hotels, the resort is situated directly on the „ALDAU Art Promenade“ with various shops, restaurants, and the Elements Club & Lounge. The lively town center of Hurghada, known as "Sakalla", is about 10 km away. Hurghada Airport is approx. 6 km away.

Facilities

The spacious hotel is equipped with over 400 modern suites, the majority of which have a direct sea view. You can expect a luxurious and openly designed reception hall with a front desk, seating areas, and two lobby bars. In the outdoor area of the facility, there is an extensive pool landscape covering over 5,000 m³ with a more than 400-meter long "Lazy River" that leads through the complex, as well as a saltwater pool (heated) and a "Jacuzzi Island" (ages 16 and up). The superior suites (DM2/DAM approx. 50 m²) have a sea view.
