Travel information

Combination product consisting of a Nile cruise on the MS Lady Carol and a beach holiday, including all connecting transfers. Accommodation in the hotel is always provided in the most affordable available room category. Embarkation always takes place on Saturdays. The journey must be started at least one day in advance, as an overnight stay beforehand is mandatory. The next possible embarkation will always be taken.

Notice

The travel package you have chosen has a duration of 14 days and includes various individual services. Accommodation on the ship is always for seven days according to the program. The pre-cruise and post-cruise hotel stay depends on your arrival day and the embarkation day. All transfers between the airport, hotel, and port are included.

The itinerary may shift depending on the day of embarkation.

Day 1:
Arrival and embarkation. In the afternoon, visit the Luxor Museum (3). Dinner and overnight stay on board in Luxor.
Day 2:
Visit to the East Bank in Luxor. At 5 AM, hot air balloon excursion (optional, can be booked on site).
Breakfast, tour of the East Bank, including Karnak and Luxor Temples (1,2,3).
Lunch on board.
Dinner and overnight stay on board in Luxor.
Day 3:
Visit to the West Bank. In the morning after breakfast, excursion to Thebes-West to the Temple of Hatshepsut (1,2,3) with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3). Visit to the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Late evening departure to Esna. Dinner and overnight stay on board.
Day 4:
Continue from Esna.
Afterwards, proceed to Aswan, where the overnight stay also takes place.

Day 5:
Morning after breakfast, visit to the Aswan High Dam and the Old Dam in Aswan (1,2,3).
Afterwards, visit the Philae Temple by motorboat (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Afternoon felucca ride on the Nile (1,2,3).
Afterwards, opportunity to visit a Nubian village with the desert on one side and the Nile on the other (3).
Dinner and overnight stay on board.
Day 6:
You have the opportunity to explore Abu Simbel (2,3). Travel to Kom Ombo with a visit to the double temple (1,2,3). Dinner and overnight stay on board.
Day 7:
Continue to Esna and visit the Temple of Edfu (1,2,3). Overnight stay on board.

The economy cabins (EK2) are equipped like the standard cabins, but are located on the lower decks and feature a small porthole.

The Sultan Bey is located directly on one of the many lagoons of El Gouna on a peninsula. The downtown area as well as numerous restaurants, bars, and shopping facilities are about 300 m away. Surrounded by crystal-clear lagoons and beautiful sandy beaches, a holiday atmosphere immediately arises. On the opposite island, Zeytouna, you will find the beautiful public sandy beach "Zeytouna Beach" (swim shoes recommended), which you can reach by the free shuttle boat. A 400 m long jetty, the "Zeytouna Pier", facilitates access to deeper water here. On "Zeytouna Island", the à-la-carte restaurant and sports facilities can be used for a fee. The resort is located about 25 km north of Hurghada. Hurghada Airport is about 40 km away.

The small and cozy hotel complex is built in a classic Egyptian style. The hotel delights with beautiful courtyards as well as 115 elegantly furnished rooms spread over the main building and several annexes. The hotel features an inviting lobby with a reception, comfortable seating, and a lobby bar. The main restaurant with a beautiful outdoor terrace overlooking the lagoon provides meals. In the well-maintained outdoor area, there is a swimming pool (heatable) with an integrated children's pool as well as sun terraces and a pool/snack bar. Sun loungers, umbrellas, and pads are included at the pool and at "Zeytouna Beach".
