Travel information

Combination product consisting of a Nile cruise on the MS Lady Carol and a beach holiday including all inter-hotel transfers. Accommodation at the hotel is always provided in the most affordable available room category. Embarkation always takes place on Saturdays. The trip must be started at least one day in advance, as an overnight stay beforehand is mandatory. The next available embarkation date will always be selected.

Notice

The travel package you have selected has a duration of 14 Days and includes various individual services. Accommodation on the ship is always provided for seven Days according to the program. The pre- and post-stay at the hotel depends on your arrival day and the embarkation day. All transfers between the airport, hotel, and port are included.

1. Day:
Arrival and embarkation. Afternoon visit to the Luxor Museum (3) Dinner and overnight stay on board in Luxor.
2. Day:
Visit to the East Bank in Luxor. At 5 AM, excursion by balloon (optional, can be booked on site).
Breakfast, visit to the East Bank, the Karnak Temple as well as the Luxor Temple (1,2,3).
Lunch on board.
Dinner and overnight stay on board in Luxor.
3. Day:
Visit to the West Bank. Morning after breakfast, excursion to Thebes-West to the Temple of Hatshepsut (1,2,3) with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3). Visit to the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Late evening trip to Esna. Dinner and overnight stay on board.
4. Day:
Continue from Esna.
Afterwards, we continue to Aswan, where we will also stay overnight.

5. Day:
Morning after breakfast, visit to the Aswan High Dam and the Old Dam in Aswan (1,2,3).
Afterwards, visit to the Philae Temple by motorboat (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Afternoon felucca trip on the Nile (1,2,3).
Afterwards, opportunity to visit a Nubian village with the desert on one side and the Nile on the other (3).
Dinner and overnight stay on board.
6. Day:
You have the opportunity to explore Abu Simbel (2,3). Trip to Kom Ombo with a visit to the double temple (1,2,3). Dinner and overnight stay on board.
7. Day:
Continue to Esna and visit the Edfu Temple (1,2,3). Overnight stay on board.

Arrival in Luxor. Departure.

The economy cabins (EK2) are equipped like the standard cabins, but are located on the lower decks and feature a small porthole.

Single cabin

Same equipment as the cabins, but slightly smaller (approx. 13 m²) and with only one bed (K1B). The window cannot be opened.

The Sultan Bey is located directly on one of the many lagoons of El Gouna on a peninsula. Downtown and numerous restaurants, bars, and shopping opportunities are approx. 300 m away. Surrounded by crystal-clear lagoons and beautiful sandy beaches, a holiday atmosphere is immediate. On the opposite island, Zeytouna, is the beautiful public sandy beach "Zeytouna Beach" (bathing shoes recommended), which you can reach with the free shuttle boat. A 400 m long jetty, the "Zeytouna Pier", makes it easier to access deeper water here. On "Zeytouna Island", the à la carte restaurant and sports facilities can be used for a fee. The resort is located approx. 25 km north of Hurghada. Hurghada Airport is approx. 40 km away.

The small and cozy hotel complex is built in a classic Egyptian style. The hotel delights with beautiful courtyards as well as 115 elegantly furnished rooms, which are distributed across the main building and several annexes. The hotel has an inviting reception hall with a front desk, comfortable seating, and a lobby bar. The main restaurant with a beautiful outdoor terrace overlooking the lagoon provides for your culinary needs. In the well-maintained outdoor area, there is a swimming pool (heatable) with an integrated children's pool as well as sun terraces and a pool/snack bar.
