Travel information

Package product combining a Nile cruise on the MS Magic I with a beach holiday, including all transfers between segments. Accommodation at the hotel is always provided in the most reasonably priced available room category. Embarkation always takes place on Thursdays. The trip must be started at least one day in advance, as an overnight stay prior to the cruise is mandatory. The next possible embarkation date will always be selected.

The travel package you have selected has a duration of 14 Days and includes various individual services. Accommodation on the ship is always provided for seven Days in accordance with the program. The pre- and post-stay at the hotel depends on your arrival day and the embarkation day. All transfers between the airport, hotel, and port are included.

Embarkation: Saturday
Itinerary:
1st Day:
Arrival and embarkation. Dinner and overnight stay on board in Luxor.
2nd Day:
Optional hot air balloon ride available in the morning at 5 AM (can only be booked locally).
Breakfast on board. Then, sightseeing of the West Bank including the Hatshepsut Temple (1,2,3), Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3), and the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3).
Lunch on board. Afterwards, continue to Edfu.
Dinner and overnight stay on board.
3rd Day:
Breakfast on board. Afterwards, continue to Kom Ombo. Lunch on board.
Upon arrival in Kom Ombo, you can visit the Kom Ombo Temple (1,2,3).
Continue sailing towards Aswan, with dinner served on board.
Overnight stay in Aswan.
4th Day:
In the morning after breakfast, visit the Aswan High Dam (1,2,3).
Afterwards, visit the Philae Temple by motorboat (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
In the afternoon, enjoy a felucca ride on the Nile.
Afterwards, an opportunity to visit a Nubian Village (3).
Dinner and overnight stay on board.
5th Day:
Early morning at 3:30 AM, opportunity for an excursion to Abu Simbel by bus (2,3); a breakfast box is included.
Lunch on board. Overnight stay and dinner on board.
Continue sailing to Esna.
6th Day:
In the morning after breakfast, visit the Edfu Temple (1,2,3). Continue sailing to Luxor. Lunch on board. Dinner and overnight stay in Luxor.
7th Day:
Breakfast on board.
Sightseeing of the East Bank including the Luxor Temple (1,2,3) and Karnak Temple (1,2,3).
8th Day:
Departure.

The Steigenberger ALDAU Beach Hotel, particularly popular with regular guests, is located in the first beach row of Hurghada on one of the most popular coastal stretches in the region. The spacious resort is situated on a 400-meter long private sandy beach with turquoise water. Together with its two Steigenberger sister hotels, the resort is located directly on the „ALDAU Art Promenade“ featuring various shops, restaurants, and the Elements Club & Lounge. The lively town center of Hurghada, known as "Sakalla", is about 10 km away. Hurghada Airport is approximately 6 km away.

The Schauinsland-Reisen Original rooms (DLM), with the same amenities as the Superior Suite Sea View, are guaranteed to be located on the 4th floor, offering a breathtaking view of the sea.

Family Suite Sea View

The Family Suites (F2M/FA2) have the same amenities as the Superior Suites but are larger (approx. 55 m²) with a sofa bed, limited Wi-Fi for max. 2 devices per room, and sea views.

The View Suite

The View Suite (S2) is approx. 115 m² and is equipped with an open bathroom with shower and whirlpool, separate WC, a separate guest WC, RFID door lock, an open living area, a bedroom, limited Wi-Fi for max. 3 devices per room, espresso machine, and a large balcony with loungers and seating. The suites have sea views. These rooms are adults-only.

Executive Suite

Enjoy your breakfast (07:00-10:30 AM), lunch (01:00-04:00 PM), and dinner (06:30-10:00 PM in summer and 06:00-10:00 PM in winter) in buffet form, with changing themed buffets in the evening at the main restaurant, "Tamarind". Alternatively, the "Bwala Pool Restaurant and Bar" is available for lunch with a lunch menu from 01:00-05:00 PM, or the "Tanga Beach Restaurant and Bar" with a lunch buffet from 12:00-03:00 PM and a lunch menu from 01:00-04:00 PM.
