Combination package consisting of a Nile cruise on the MS Nile Excellence and a beach holiday, including all intermediate transfers. Accommodation at the hotel is always provided in the most reasonably priced available room category. If the Nile cruise is booked first, the flight to Luxor must be used. If the hotel is booked first and the Nile cruise second, the return flight must be from Luxor.

Day 1:
Arrival and embarkation. Afternoon visit to the Luxor Museum (3). Dinner and overnight on board in Luxor.
Day 2:
At 5 a.m., a hot air balloon ride is possible (optional, bookable on site).
In the morning, after breakfast, excursion to Thebes-West to the Hatshepsut Temple (1,2,3) with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3). Visit to the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
In the afternoon, travel to Edfu. Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 3:
In the morning, continue to Kom Ombo.
Lunch on board and visit to the Double Temple (1,2,3).
Continue to Aswan, dinner, and overnight on board.
Day 4:
In the morning after breakfast, visit to the Aswan High Dam (1,2,3).
Then visit the Philae Temple by motorboat (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Afternoon felucca ride on the Nile (1,2,3).
Then visit a Nubian village (3).
Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 5:
Early morning at 3:30 a.m., opportunity for an excursion to Abu Simbel by bus (2,3), breakfast box is included.
Then return to Kom Ombo.
Lunch on board. Overnight and dinner on board.
Day 6:
Breakfast on board. Then the ship continues to Esna. Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 7:
Breakfast. Then you have the opportunity to visit the Edfu Temple (1,2,3).
Afterwards, the ship continues to Luxor.

Facilities

The MS Nile Excellence has a total of 30 modernly furnished exterior cabins, spread across several decks. The reception area is bright and elegantly designed and features a reception desk. Let yourself be pampered in the main restaurant and enjoy the cool drinks served by the three bars on board. Furthermore, a small bazaar and a cozy reading corner are available. From winter 2024/25, the ship will have a small fitness center, which is freely accessible to all guests on board. To make your holiday perfect, you can relax on the sun loungers on the sun deck or cool off in the pool and enjoy the dreamlike view of the landscape along the Nile.

Suite

The friendly furnished suites (S2) are approx. 24 m² and feature shower/WC, hairdryer, two single beds or one double bed, air conditioning (individually adjustable), minibar, safe, TV, telephone (for a fee), sitting area, and French balcony.
Also bookable for single use (1SA).

Royal Suite

The Royal Suites (RS) have the same amenities as the suites but are larger (approx. 37 m²). The Royal Suites are located on the middle deck and upper deck.
In the Royal Suites, there is also a small table and two chairs on the balcony.

Single Suites

The single suites (S1) are approx. 13 m² and otherwise have the same amenities as the suites, but with only one single bed without a sitting area.

Economy Suite

The economy suites (S2Z) are somewhat smaller (approx. 21 m²) with otherwise the same amenities as the suites, and possibly without a French balcony and without a sitting area, but with a non-opening window.

The popular Iberotel Makadi Beach hotel is located directly on the beautiful long sandy beach of the idyllic Makadi Bay. Experience the colorful underwater world of the Red Sea. The hotel's own reef reaches the shore in places and offers very good diving and snorkeling conditions. Just a few meters from the hotel is the Makadi Souk, where you can browse for souvenirs or enjoy oriental food in one of the nice restaurants. Hurghada is approx. 35 km north.

Facilities

The spacious complex with two-story residential units that stretch along the pool and garden landscape to the beach leaves nothing to be desired. The hotel has 313 rooms, an inviting entrance hall with lobby and reception, a fun pub, and shops and boutiques. A main restaurant, two à la carte restaurants, and an oriental restaurant provide for your culinary needs. Further à la carte restaurants are available to guests at Madinat Makadi for a fee.
