Combination product of a Nile cruise on the MS Nile Excellence and a beach holiday including all intermediate transfers. Accommodation in the hotel is always in the cheapest available room category. If the Nile cruise is booked first, the outward flight must be to Luxor. If the hotel is booked first and then the Nile cruise, the return flight must be from Luxor.

Day 1:
Arrival and embarkation. Afternoon visit to the Luxor Museum (3). Dinner and overnight on board in Luxor.
Day 2:
A balloon ride is possible at 5 am (optional, bookable locally).
In the morning, after breakfast, excursion to West Thebes to the Temple of Hatshepsut (1,2,3) with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3). Visit to the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
In the afternoon, sailing to Edfu. Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 3:
Morning sailing to Kom Ombo.
Lunch on board and visit to the double temple (1,2,3).
Continue sailing to Aswan, dinner and overnight on board.
Day 4:
In the morning, after breakfast, visit the Aswan High Dam (1,2,3).
Then visit the Temple of Philae by motorboat (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Afternoon felucca ride on the Nile (1,2,3).
Then visit a Nubian village (3).
Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 5:
In the early morning at 3:30 am, opportunity for an excursion to Abu Simbel by bus (2,3), breakfast package included.
Then it's back to Kom Ombo.
Lunch on board. Overnight and dinner on board.
Day 6:
Breakfast on board. Then the ship sails on to Esna. Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 7:
Breakfast. Afterwards, you have the opportunity to visit the Edfu Temple (1,2,3).
Then the ship sails on to Luxor.
Upon arrival, you have the opportunity to visit the East Bank with the Luxor Temple (1,2,3) and the Karnak Temple (1,2,3). There is an opportunity for a sound and light show at Karnak Temple (optional, can be booked additionally on site).

The MS Nile Excellence has a total of 30 modernly equipped outside cabins spread over several decks. The reception area is bright and elegantly designed and has a reception desk. Enjoy culinary delights in the main restaurant and enjoy cool drinks served by the three bars on board. There is also a small bazaar and a cozy reading corner. From Winter 2024/25, the ship will have a small fitness studio, freely accessible to all guests on board. To make your vacation perfect, you can relax on the sun deck on the loungers or cool off in the pool and enjoy the dreamlike view of the landscape along the Nile.

Suite

The friendly furnished suites (S2) are approx. 24 sqm and have a shower/WC, hairdryer, two single beds or one double bed, air conditioning (individually adjustable), minibar, safe, TV, telephone (for a fee), seating area, and French balcony.
Also bookable for single occupancy (1SA).

Royal Suite

The Royal Suites (RS) have the same amenities as the suites but are larger (approx. 37 sqm). The Royal Suites are located on the middle and upper decks.
In the Royal Suites, the French balcony also has a small table and two chairs.

Single Suite

The single suites (S1) are approx. 13 sqm and otherwise equipped like the suites, but with only one single bed without a seating area.

Economy Suite

The economy suites (S2Z) have the same amenities as the suites but are slightly smaller (approx. 21 sqm) and may not have a French balcony and seating area, but rather a non-opening window.

Location

The popular Iberotel Makadi Beach hotel is located directly on the beautiful and long sandy beach of the idyllic Makadi Bay. Experience the colorful underwater world of the Red Sea. The hotel's own reef grows to the shore in some places and offers very good diving and snorkeling conditions. Just a few meters from the hotel is the Makadi Souk, where you can look for souvenirs or enjoy oriental dishes in one of the nice restaurants. Hurghada is about 35 km to the north.

Facilities

The spacious complex with two-story residential units, stretching along the pool and garden landscape to the beach, leaves nothing to be desired. The hotel has 313 rooms, an inviting lobby with reception, a fun pub, and shops and boutiques. For culinary delights, there is a main restaurant and two à la carte restaurants, as well as an oriental restaurant. Further à la carte restaurants are available to guests in Madinat Makadi for a fee.
In the extensive outdoor area, there is a swimming pool (heated in winter) and a swimming pool with an adjacent children's pool and waterfall, a sun terrace, and a pool bar and a pool restaurant. Sun loungers and umbrellas are available free of charge on the beach and by the pool.
