The Jaz Amara Resort, newly opened in December 2023, is located on a beautiful, gently sloping beach in the first row of the popular Marsa Mares bay. The bay is particularly known for its sea turtle population and has a house reef ideal for snorkeling and diving. Your holiday destination is about 8 kilometers from Marsa Alam Airport. Various shopping facilities with bars and restaurants can be found at the port of Port Ghalib (approximately 5 kilometers away).

Facilities

The stylishly built hotel complex has a total of 272 rooms and suites spread throughout the resort. These include various Superior and Deluxe rooms, suites, and swim-up rooms. Your holiday resort impresses with a very appealing, elegant design and has been conceived very generously. The impressive reception area offers a direct sea view of the resort and the bay and features a reception with various seating areas and a lobby bar. The outdoor area boasts a large pool landscape that winds through the resort. There are seven different pools, including a children's pool, a baby pool, and a Jacuzzi (partially heated in winter). Sun loungers and umbrellas are available free of charge in the pool area and on the private beach section, and bath and beach towels are already provided in the rooms. Furthermore, the complex features a spacious fitness studio on the first floor with a panoramic view of the bay and the pool landscape. Directly adjacent is the hotel's own Mivida Spa (for a fee). A main restaurant, two à la carte restaurants, and various bars are available.

Superior Double Room

The friendly furnished Superior Double Rooms (DSU, approx. 51m²) feature a walk-in shower/WC, individually adjustable air conditioning, minibar and telephone (each for a fee), Wi-Fi (included), LED TV, and a minibar. The rooms are equipped with a king-size bed or two single beds. There is also a tea and coffee station in the room. The rooms have a terrace or balcony. Also bookable with pool view (DSP), side sea view (DSS), and sea view (DMU). Also bookable for single occupancy.

Superior Double Room with guaranteed sea view on the top floor

The newly bookable Schauinsland-Reisen Original Rooms (MSA) are equipped like the Superior Double Rooms and have a sea view. The rooms are guaranteed to be on the top floor of the hotel, offering a breathtaking view of the Red Sea.

Premium Swim-up Double Room

The Premium Swim-up Double Rooms (DWP) are bookable as Schauinsland-Reisen Original Rooms and have the same amenities as the Superior Double Rooms, but with direct access to the shared pool and sun loungers on the terrace. The rooms also include the following exclusive amenities:
- Fruit basket upon arrival in the rooms
- VIP treatment upon arrival: coffee/tea maker in the room, an additional 2 bathrobes and slippers, various snacks such as apples, berries, chocolate, macarons, nuts, and various Arabic pastries.
- Use of the à la carte restaurants is included once more (Teppanyaki restaurant is excluded; in all other rooms, the à la carte restaurants are only included once).

Deluxe Double Room

The Deluxe Double Rooms (DD2) have the same amenities as the Superior Double Rooms but are larger (approx. 56sqm) and, due to their layout (one king-size bed and two sofa beds in the front area), are suitable for families. Optionally bookable with side sea view (DDS), sea view (DM2), or as swim-up (DWU).

Executive Suite

The Executive Suites (2SU) are spacious (approx. 150sqm) and feature a walk-in shower/WC, individually adjustable air conditioning, minibar and telephone (each for a fee), Wi-Fi (included), LED TV, a minibar, and a coffee/tea maker. The Executive Suites also have a living/dining area. The suites have a large balcony with a private pool.

The main restaurant "Marasi Restaurant" offers international cuisine for breakfast (7-10 am), lunch (12:30-2:30 pm), and dinner (7-10 pm) in buffet style. A late riser breakfast is also available from 10:30 am to 12 pm. Additionally, two à la carte restaurants are available (reservations required), which are included once per stay/guest (except for Teppanyaki), but then for a fee: "Tao Tao" restaurant with a selection of Asian dishes including sushi, sashimi, Japanese dishes, or teppanyaki.
