Product information

Combined package of a Nile cruise on the MS Lady Carol and a beach holiday including all intermediate transfers. Accommodation in the hotel will always be in the cheapest available room category. If the Nile cruise is booked first, the flight must be to Luxor. If the hotel is booked first and then the Nile cruise, the return flight must be from Luxor.

Day 1:
Arrival and embarkation. Afternoon visit to the Luxor Museum (3). Dinner and overnight on board in Luxor.
Day 2:
Visit to the East Bank in Luxor. At 5 AM, optional hot air balloon excursion (can be booked on-site).
Breakfast, visit to the East Bank, Karnak Temple, and Luxor Temple (1,2,3).
Lunch on board.
Dinner and overnight on board in Luxor.
Day 3:
Visit to the West Bank. In the morning after breakfast, excursion to Thebes West to the Temple of Hatshepsut (1,2,3) with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3). Visit the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Late in the evening, sail to Esna. Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 4:
Continue sailing from Esna.
Then, continue to Aswan, where you will also spend the night.

In the morning after breakfast, visit the Aswan High Dam and the Old Dam in Aswan (1,2,3).
Then visit the Temple of Philae by motorboat (1,2,3). Lunch on board.

Then, opportunity for a visit to a Nubian village with the desert on one side and the Nile on the other (3).
Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 6:
You have the opportunity to explore Abu Simbel (2,3). Sail to Kom Ombo with a visit to the double temple (1,2,3). Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 7:
Continue sailing to Esna and visit the Temple of Edfu (1,2,3). Overnight on board.

Arrival in Luxor. Departure.

The ship features a welcoming reception and a total of 72 beautiful exterior cabins spread across several decks. The main restaurant offers delicious meals. This is complemented by a cozy lounge bar. The tastefully furnished cabins (K2) are approximately 19 sqm and feature a bathroom with bath/WC, hairdryer, telephone, satellite TV, video system, air conditioning, minibar, and safe.

Economy Cabins

The economy cabins (EK2) are equipped like the standard cabins but are located on lower decks and have a small porthole.

Single Occupancy Cabin

With the same amenities as the cabins, but slightly smaller (approx. 13 sqm) and with only one bed (K1B). The window cannot be opened.

The Jaz Amara Resort, newly opened in December 2023, is located on a beautiful, gently sloping beach in the first row of the popular Marsa Mares bay. The bay is particularly known for sea turtle sightings and has a house reef ideal for snorkeling and diving. Your holiday accommodation is located about 8 kilometers from Marsa Alam Airport. Various shops with bars and restaurants can be found in the port of Port Ghalib (about 5 kilometers away).

The stylishly designed hotel complex features a total of 272 rooms and suites spread throughout the property. These include various Superior and Deluxe rooms, suites, and swim-up rooms. Your holiday resort surprises with a very appealing, elegant design and has been conceived very generously. The impressive reception area offers a direct sea view of the resort and the bay, and includes a reception with various seating areas as well as a lobby bar. The outdoor area features a large pool landscape that winds through the complex. Seven different pools await you, including a children's pool, a baby pool, and a jacuzzi (partially heated in winter). Sun loungers and umbrellas are available free of charge for guests in the pool area and at the private beach section, and bath and beach towels are already in the rooms. Furthermore, the complex has a spacious fitness studio on the first floor with a panoramic view of the bay and the pool landscape. Directly adjacent is the hotel's Mivida Spa (for a fee). A main restaurant, two à la carte restaurants, and various bars are available.

Superior Double Room

The friendly furnished Superior Double Rooms (DSU, approx. 51m²) have a walk-in shower/WC, individually adjustable air conditioning, minibar, and telephone (each for a fee), Wi-Fi (included), LED TV, and a minibar. The rooms are equipped with a king-size bed or two single beds. A tea and coffee station is also available in the room. The rooms have a terrace or balcony. Also available with pool view (DSP), side sea view (DSS), and sea view (DMU). Also available for single occupancy.

Superior Double Room with Guaranteed Sea View from Top Floor

The newly bookable schauinsland-reisen Original Rooms (MSA) are equipped like the Superior Double Rooms and have a sea view. The rooms are guaranteed to be on the top floor of the hotel, offering a breathtaking view of the Red Sea.
Also available for single occupancy (MSE).

Premium Swim-up Double Room

The Premium Swim-up Double Rooms (DWP) are bookable as schauinsland-reisen Original Rooms and have the same amenities as the Superior Double Rooms, but with direct access to the shared pool. The rooms also feature the following exclusive amenities:
- Fruit basket upon arrival in the rooms
- VIP treatment upon arrival: coffee/tea maker in the room, plus 2 bathrobes and slippers, various snacks such as apples, berries, chocolate, macarons, nuts, and various Arabic pastries.

Deluxe Double Room

The Deluxe Double Rooms (DD2) have the same amenities as the Superior Double Rooms but are larger (approx. 56 sqm) and are suitable for families due to their layout (one king-size bed and two sofa beds in the front area). Optionally available with side sea view (DDS), sea view (DM2), or as swim-up rooms (DWU).

Executive Suite

The Executive Suites (2SU) are spacious (approx. 150 sqm) and feature a walk-in shower/WC, individually adjustable air conditioning, minibar, and telephone (each for a fee), Wi-Fi (included), LED TV, a minibar, and a coffee/tea maker. The Executive Suites also have a living/dining area. The suites have a large balcony with a private pool.
The rooms are located on the first floor.

Royal Suite

The Royal Suites (RS) are 153 sqm and, with the same amenities as the Superior Double Rooms, feature a king-size bed and a dining area. The rooms also have a spacious terrace with access to a private pool (heated in winter) and direct sea view.

Superior Double Room Premium (RMFA45)

With otherwise the same amenities as the Superior Double Rooms, these are slightly more spacious (SPU/SPE).

The main restaurant "Marasi Restaurant" offers international cuisine for breakfast (7 AM-10 AM), lunch (12:30 PM-2:30 PM), and dinner (7 PM-10 PM) in buffet style. A late riser's breakfast is also available from 10:30 AM to 12 PM. Additionally, two à la carte restaurants are available for guests (reservations required), which are included once per stay/guest (except Teppanyaki), but are chargeable thereafter: "Tao Tao" restaurant with a selection of Asian dishes including sushi, sashimi, Japanese dishes, or Teppanyaki. The "Bay View" à la carte restaurant offers Mediterranean fine dining cuisine. Afternoon tea is served from 12:30 PM to 5 PM. Various bars offer refreshments and snacks throughout the day, such as the "La Vista Pool Snack Bar" (snacks and local alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks), "Splash Pool Bar," "Fantasia Lobby Bar," and "Bay View Beach Bar" (snacks and local alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks).
Smart casual attire is requested for dinner.
