Combination product consisting of a Nile cruise on the MS Lady Carol and a beach holiday including all connecting transfers. Accommodation in the hotel is always provided in the most affordable available room category. If the Nile cruise is booked first, the outbound flight must be to Luxor. If the hotel is booked first and the Nile cruise second, the return flight must be from Luxor.

Arrival and embarkation. Afternoon visit to the Luxor Museum (3). Dinner and overnight stay on board in Luxor.
Day 2:
Sightseeing on the East Bank in Luxor. At 5 a.m., hot air balloon excursion (optional, can be booked on-site).
Breakfast, visit to the East Bank, Karnak and Luxor Temple (1,2,3).
Lunch on board.

Day 3:

The ship features a friendly reception and a total of 72 beautiful outside cabins distributed across several decks. The main restaurant provides delicious meals. The economy cabins (EK2) are equipped like the standard cabins, but are located on the lower decks and feature a small round window.

The spacious resort is located directly on its own sand/shingle beach (bathing shoes recommended) and is only approx. 40 km from Marsa Alam Airport.
Thanks to the gently shelving beach, you have the opportunity for a relaxing beach holiday. On the other hand, the long jetty leads directly into deeper water, from where you can discover the beautiful and impressive underwater world of the Red Sea. The beach offers the best conditions for snorkeling and diving.

Facilities

The large newly opened hotel complex consists of 514 rooms. The cozy and charmingly furnished complex has a reception, several shops, an amphitheater, various bars, two buffet restaurants ("El Khan"-oriental, "Soprano Restaurant"- international cuisine), an à-la-carte restaurant ("Shell Fish"-seafood, once per stay, with reservation), two snack restaurants and various bars and a café, The Bakery.
In the spacious grounds there are 12 swimming pools (three of which are heated in winter) and 3 children's pools (two of which can be heated in winter). The newly built Aqua Park with 32 water slides (11 for adults and 21 for children; partially heated in winter) offers fun for young and old.
Sun loungers, umbrellas, pads, and towels are free of charge by the pool and on the beach.
Guests of "Pickalbatros Portofino Villaggio" can use all facilities of the sister hotel "Pickalbatros Portofino Vita" (RMF116).

Double room Superior

The modern Double Superior rooms (DSU, approx. 42-45m²) are equipped with a bathroom with shower/WC, hairdryer, safe, minibar (water included), kettle, air conditioning, telephone (for a fee), TV, and balcony or terrace.
For an extra charge, also bookable with pool view (DSP) or sea view (DMU).
Under RMFA49 also bookable as single occupancy with garden view (DSE), as single occupancy with pool view (DST), and as single occupancy with sea view (DME).

Family room Deluxe garden view

The modern rooms (2FS, approx. 70 m²) consist of a bedroom with a king-size bed and a bedroom with single beds and a sofa bed, and are equipped with shower/WC, hairdryer, safe, minibar (water included), kettle, air conditioning, telephone (for a fee), TV, and balcony or terrace.
For an extra charge, also bookable with pool view (XF2).

Royal Suite Swim Up pool view

The Royal Suite (SWP) is approx. 105 m² and features bath/WC, hairdryer, air conditioning, minibar (water included), safe, kettle, telephone (for a fee), TV, and terrace with direct access to the shared swim-up pool. The rooms have two bedrooms.
(Additional allotment under RMFA49 bookable as Royal Suite Type B (RZ3)).
Rooms with direct pool/sea access represent an increased potential danger for small children.
Therefore, at schauinsland-reisen, for bookings of these room types, a minimum age of 6 years applies for children for safety reasons.

Double room Deluxe (RMFA49)

The Deluxe double rooms correspond in size and equipment to the double rooms (DD2). Also bookable with pool view (DBP) and sea view (DDM).

Bungalow Deluxe sea view (RMFA49)

The Deluxe bungalows have a size of approx. 35m² and are equipped with air conditioning, bathroom with shower or bathtub/WC, flatscreen TV, balcony or terrace, and have sea view (2BM).

Superior Bungalow sea view (RMFA49)

The Superior bungalows are similar in equipment to the Deluxe bungalows, but are larger at approx. 45m² (2UB).
