Travel information

Combination product consisting of a Nile cruise on the MS Magic I and a beach holiday, including all transfers in between. Accommodation at the hotel is always provided in the most reasonably priced available room category. Embarkation always takes place on Thursdays. The trip must be started at least one day in advance, as an overnight stay prior to the cruise is mandatory. The earliest possible embarkation is always selected.

Notice

The travel offer you have chosen has a duration of 14 Days and includes various individual services. Accommodation on the ship is always for seven days according to the program. The pre- and post-stay at the hotel depends on your day of arrival and the day of embarkation. All transfers between the airport, hotel, and port are included.

The sprawling resort is located directly on the hotel's own sand/shingle beach (bathing shoes recommended) and is only approx. 40 km from Marsa Alam Airport.
Due to the gently sloping beach, you have the opportunity for a relaxing beach holiday. On the other hand, a long jetty leads directly into deeper water, from where you can discover the beautiful and impressive underwater world of the Red Sea. The beach offers the best conditions for snorkeling and diving.

The large, newly opened hotel complex consists of 514 rooms. The comfortably and charmingly furnished complex has a reception, several shops, an amphitheater, various bars, two buffet restaurants ("El Khan" oriental, "Soprano Restaurant" international cuisine), one à-la-carte restaurant ("Shell Fish" seafood, once per stay, with reservation), two snack restaurants, various bars, and a café, The Bakery.
In the spacious grounds, there are 12 swimming pools (three of which are heated in winter) and 3 children's pools (two of which are heatable in winter). The newly built Aqua Park with 32 water slides (11 for adults and 21 for children; partially heatable in winter) offers fun for all ages.
Sun loungers, umbrellas, pads, and towels are free of charge at the pool and on the beach.
Guests of the "Pickalbatros Portofino Villaggio" can use all facilities of the sister hotel "Pickalbatros Portofino Vita" (RMF116).

The Beachfront sea view rooms (BF2, approx. 42-45 m²) are large and feature a bathroom with shower/WC, hairdryer, safe, minibar (water included), electric kettle, air conditioning, telephone (for a fee), TV, and terrace or balcony. The Beachfront sea view rooms are located directly on the beach with a view of the sea.

Family room Deluxe garden view

The modern rooms (2FS, approx. 70 m²) consist of a bedroom with a king-size bed and a bedroom with single beds and a sofa bed, and are equipped with shower/WC, hairdryer, safe, minibar (water included), electric kettle, air conditioning, telephone (for a fee), TV, and balcony or terrace.
Also bookable with pool view (XF2) for an extra charge.

Royal Suite Swim Up pool view

The Royal Suites (SWP) are approx. 105 m² in size and feature bathroom/WC, hairdryer, air conditioning, minibar (water included), safe, electric kettle, telephone (for a fee), TV, and a terrace with direct access to the communal swim-up pool. The rooms have two bedrooms.
(Additional quota bookable under RMFA49 as Royal Suite Type B (RZ3)).
Rooms with direct pool/sea access present an increased potential hazard for small children.
Therefore, for safety reasons, a minimum age of 6 years applies for children for bookings of these room types at schauinsland-reisen.

The Double Deluxe rooms are equivalent in size and furnishings to the double rooms (DD2). Also bookable with pool view (DBP) and sea view (DDM).

Bungalow Deluxe sea view (RMFA49)

The Bungalow Deluxe rooms have a size of approx. 35 m² and are equipped with air conditioning, bathroom with shower or bathtub/WC, flatscreen TV, balcony or terrace, and have a sea view (2BM).

Superior Bungalow sea view (RMFA49)

The Superior Bungalows are similar in furnishing to the Bungalow Deluxe rooms, but are larger at approx. 45 m² (2UB).
