Travel information

Combo product consisting of a Nile cruise on the MS Magic I and a beach holiday including all inter-hotel transfers. Accommodation at the hotel is always provided in the most affordable available room category. Embarkation always takes place on Thursday. The journey must be started at least one day in advance, as an overnight stay before is mandatory. The next possible embarkation date will always be selected.

Notice

The travel package you have selected has a duration of 14 Days and includes various individual services. Accommodation on the ship is always for seven days according to the program. The pre- and post-stay at the hotel depends on your arrival day and the embarkation day. All transfers between the airport, hotel, and port are included.

A hot air balloon flight can be booked in the morning at 5 AM (optional, can only be booked on site).
Breakfast on board. Afterward, tour of the West Bank including the Hatshepsut Temple (1,2,3), Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3), and the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3).
Lunch on board. Afterward, continue to Edfu.
Dinner and overnight stay on board.
Day 3:
Breakfast on board. Afterward, continue to Kom Ombo. Lunch on board.
After arrival in Kom Ombo, the Kom Ombo Temple can be visited there (1,2,3).
Continue toward Aswan. Dinner on board.
Overnight stay in Aswan.
Day 4:
In the morning after breakfast, visit the Aswan High Dam (1,2,3).
Afterward, visit the Philae Temple by motorboat (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
In the afternoon, felucca ride on the Nile.

The ship features a friendly reception and a total of 72 beautiful outside cabins spread over several decks. The main restaurant provides delicious meals for your well-being. The facilities are complemented by a reading corner and a lounge bar. A jeweler and a bazaar cordially invite you to browse. Additionally, there is a billiard room on board. You can relax and enjoy your holiday on the spacious Sun deck with a pool and bar.

The spacious resort is located directly on its own sand/pebble beach (bathing shoes recommended) and is only approx. 40 km from Marsa Alam Airport.
Thanks to the gently sloping beach, you have the opportunity for a relaxing beach holiday. On the other hand, a long jetty leads directly into deeper water, from where you can discover the beautiful and impressive underwater world of the Red Sea. The beach offers the best conditions for snorkeling and diving.

The large, newly opened hotel complex consists of 514 rooms. The cozy and charmingly furnished complex features a reception, several shops, an amphitheater, various bars, two buffet restaurants ("El Khan" - Oriental, "Soprano Restaurant" - international cuisine), an à-la-carte restaurant ("Shell Fish" - seafood, once per stay, with reservation), two snack restaurants, various bars, a café, and "The Bakery".
In the expansive outdoor area, there are 12 swimming pools (three of which are heated in winter) and 3 children's pools (two of which are heatable in winter). The newly built Aqua Park with 32 water slides (11 for adults and 21 for children; partially heatable in winter) offers fun for all ages.
Sun loungers, parasols, cushions, and towels are free of charge at the pool and on the beach.
Guests of the "Pickalbatros Portofino Villaggio" can use all facilities of the sister hotel "Pickalbatros Portofino Vita" (RMF116).

Beachfront sea view

The Beachfront sea view rooms (BF2, approx. 42-45 m²) are large and the rooms feature a bathroom with shower/WC, hairdryer, safe, minibar (water included), electric kettle, air conditioning, telephone (for a fee), TV, and terrace or balcony. The Beachfront sea view rooms are located directly on the beach with a view of the sea.

Double room Superior

Family room Deluxe garden view

The modern rooms (2FS, approx. 70 m²) consist of a bedroom with a king-size bed and a bedroom with single beds and a sofa bed, and are equipped with shower/WC, hairdryer, safe, minibar (water included), electric kettle, air conditioning, telephone (for a fee), TV, and balcony or terrace.
Also bookable with pool view (XF2) for an extra charge.

Royal Suite Swim Up pool view

The Royal Suites (SWP) are approx. 105 m² in size and feature a bathroom/WC, hairdryer, air conditioning, minibar (water included), safe, electric kettle, telephone (for a fee), TV, and a terrace with direct access to the communal swim-up pool. The rooms feature two bedrooms.
(Additional inventory bookable under RMFA49 as Royal Suite Type B (RZ3)).
Rooms with direct pool/sea access present an increased safety risk for small children.
Therefore, for safety reasons, a minimum age of 6 years applies for children when booking these room types with schauinsland-reisen.

Double room Deluxe (RMFA49)

The Double Deluxe rooms correspond in size and equipment to the double rooms (DD2). Also bookable with pool view (DBP) and with sea view (DDM).

Bungalow Deluxe sea view (RMFA49)

The Bungalow Deluxe are approx. 35m² in size and are equipped with air conditioning, bathroom with shower or bathtub/WC, flat-screen TV, balcony or terrace, and have a sea view (2BM).

Superior Bungalow sea view (RMFA49)

The Superior Bungalows are similar in equipment to the Bungalow Deluxe, but are larger at approx. 45m² (2UB).
