Travel information

Combination package consisting of a Nile cruise on the MS Nile Excellence and a beach holiday including all inter-hotel transfers. Accommodation in the hotel is always provided in the most reasonably priced available room category. Embarkation always takes place on Thursdays. The journey must be started at least one day in advance, as an overnight stay beforehand is mandatory. The next possible embarkation will always be selected.

Notice

The travel offer you have chosen has a duration of 14 Days and includes various individual services. Accommodation on the ship is always for seven days according to the program. The preliminary and subsequent stay at the hotel depends on your arrival day and the day of embarkation. All transfers between the airport, hotel, and port are included.

1. Day:
Arrival and embarkation. Afternoon visit to the Luxor Museum (3). Dinner and overnight stay on board in Luxor.
2. Day:
Hot air balloon ride possible at 5 am (optional, bookable on site).
In the morning, after breakfast, excursion to Thebes-West to the Hatshepsut Temple (1,2,3) with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3). Visit to the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Afternoon trip to Edfu. Dinner and overnight stay on board.
3. Day:
Morning trip to Kom Ombo.
Lunch on board and visit to the Double Temple (1,2,3).
Proceed to Aswan, dinner and overnight stay on board.
4. Day:
In the morning, after breakfast, visit to the Aswan High Dam (1,2,3).
Then visit to the Philae Temple by motorboat (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Afternoon felucca trip on the Nile (1,2,3).
Then visit to a Nubian village (3).
Dinner and overnight stay on board.
5. Day:
Early morning at 3:30 am, opportunity for an excursion to Abu Simbel by bus (2,3), breakfast box is included.
Then back to Kom Ombo.
Lunch on board. Overnight stay and dinner on board.
6. Day:
Breakfast on board. Then the ship continues to Esna. Dinner and overnight stay on board.
7. Day:
Breakfast. Afterwards, you have the opportunity to visit the Edfu Temple (1,2,3).
The ship then continues to Luxor.
Once there, you have the opportunity to visit the East Bank with the Luxor Temple (1,2,3) and the Karnak Temple (1,2,3). There is an opportunity for a sound and light show at the Karnak Temple (optional, can be booked locally).

Facilities

The MS Nile Excellence features a total of 30 modernly furnished outside cabins, spread over several decks. The reception area is bright and elegantly designed and has a reception desk. Let yourself be pampered in the main restaurant and enjoy the cool drinks served by the three bars on board. Furthermore, a small bazaar and a cozy reading corner are available to you. From winter 2024/25, the ship will have a small fitness studio that is freely accessible to all guests on board. To make your holiday perfect, you can relax on the loungers on the sundeck or cool off in the pool and enjoy the dreamlike view of the landscape along the Nile.

Suite

The friendly furnished suites (S2) are approx. 24 m² in size and feature a shower/WC, hairdryer, two single beds or one double bed, air conditioning (individually adjustable), minibar, safe, TV, telephone (for a fee), seating area, and a French balcony.
Also bookable for single use (1SA).

Royal Suite

The Royal Suites (RS) have the same amenities as the suites but are larger (approx. 37 m²). The Royal Suites are located on the middle deck and upper deck.
In the Royal Suites, there is also a small table and two chairs on the balcony.

Single Suites

The single suites (S1) are approx. 13 m² in size and otherwise equipped the same as the suites, but with only one single bed without a seating area.

Economy Suite

The economy suites (S2Z) are somewhat smaller (approx. 21 m²) with otherwise the same amenities as the suites and possibly without a French balcony and without a seating area, but with a non-opening window.

Breakfast, lunch, and dinner as a buffet or set menu.
Breakfast includes soft drinks and hot drinks. For lunch and dinner, two soft drinks and a small bottle of water per person are included.

The modern and stylish JAZ Elite Maraya is in a dreamlike location right on the sea, in the idyllic Madinat Coraya. Here, you will spend a relaxing holiday where recovery and family fun can easily be brought into harmony. The sandy beach in the elongated bay is only a few minutes' walk away (beach section of the adjacent hotel JAZ Solaya). The distance to Marsa Alam Airport is only approx. 5 km.

Facilities

The "JAZ Elite Maraya" hotel complex was completely newly built in 2018/19 and opened for the 2019 summer season.
The modern hotel in a stylish ambience with a total of 202 rooms offers a great variety of activities for families with children in particular and is therefore perfect for a relaxed and restful holiday in Egypt.
Children enjoy themselves in the large Splash Kids Pool with fun water games as well as an octopus slide, build sandcastles in the sand playground, or spend adventurous hours in the beautiful kids club. To let off steam, they can go climbing or play football on the large outdoor playground.
In the family area, parents and children can rest together and recharge their batteries. A main pool (heatable in winter) is available to all guests there. International and local cuisine is offered in the main restaurant in varied buffets. For the little guests, there is the kids buffet. A special culinary highlight is a visit to one of the three specialty restaurants "Nino's" and "Sofra" for lovers of Italian and oriental cuisine as well as "MoMo" for lovers of Asian cuisine (subject to availability and with prior reservation).
Sun loungers, parasols, and pool towels are included at the pools and on the beach.

The family rooms Superior (DF2) have the same features as the Superior doubles but are larger (approx. 52 m²) and have a living/sleeping area for the children as well as a bedroom separated by a door for the parents.

Katta family room

With similar features to the family rooms, but furnished in the popular Katta style (KWF), these rooms make children's hearts beat faster. The Katta rooms have 2 rooms with a connecting door in the parents' bedroom and are equipped with a bunk bed for the children.

Deluxe family room

The deluxe family rooms (2DF) have the same features as the Superior family rooms but are even more spacious (63 m²) and additionally equipped with a cozy seating area.
Also bookable with pool view (FPD), sea view (F2D), or on sea side (FXD).

Katta deluxe family room

With similar features to the deluxe family rooms, but furnished in the popular Katta style (KWD), these rooms make children's hearts beat faster. The Katta rooms are equipped with a bunk bed for the children.

Same features as the family room Deluxe, but bookable with 2 adults and 3 children or 2 adults, 2 children, and a baby. The 3rd child will then sleep in the parents' bed or in a baby cot. (ADF)
