Travel information

Combination package consisting of a Nile cruise on the MS Nile Excellence and a beach holiday including all intermediate transfers. Accommodation at the hotel is always provided in the most reasonably priced available room category. Embarkation always takes place on Thursdays. The journey must be started at least one day in advance, as an overnight stay beforehand is mandatory. The earliest possible embarkation is always selected.

Notice

The travel offer you have chosen has a duration of 14 Days and includes various individual services. Accommodation on the ship is always provided for seven Days according to the program. The pre- and post-cruise stay at the hotel depends on your arrival Day and the embarkation Day. All transfers between the airport, hotel, and port are included.

1st Day:
Arrival and embarkation. In the afternoon, visit the Luxor Museum (3). Dinner and overnight stay on board in Luxor.
2nd Day:
At 5 a.m., a hot air balloon ride is possible (can be booked locally as an option).
In the morning, after breakfast, excursion to Thebes-West to the Temple of Hatshepsut (1,2,3) with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3). Visit to the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
In the afternoon, sail to Edfu. Dinner and overnight stay on board.
3rd Day:
In the morning, continue sailing to Kom Ombo.
Lunch on board and visit to the Double Temple (1,2,3).
Continue sailing to Aswan, dinner and overnight stay on board.
4th Day:
In the morning after breakfast, visit to the Aswan High Dam (1,2,3).
Afterwards, visit the Philae Temple by motorboat (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Afternoon felucca trip on the Nile (1,2,3).
Afterwards, visit a Nubian village (3).
Dinner and overnight stay on board.
5th Day:
Early in the morning at 3:30 a.m., opportunity for an excursion to Abu Simbel by bus (2,3), breakfast box is included.
Then return to Kom Ombo.
Lunch on board. Overnight stay and dinner on board.
6th Day:
Breakfast on board. Afterwards, the ship sails to Esna. Dinner and overnight stay on board.
7th Day:
Breakfast. Afterwards, you have the opportunity to visit the Temple of Edfu (1,2,3).
Afterwards, the ship continues to Luxor.
Once there, you have the opportunity to visit the East Bank with the Luxor Temple (1,2,3) and the Karnak Temple (1,2,3). There is an opportunity for a Sound and Light show at the Karnak Temple (optional, can be booked locally).

Facilities

The MS Nile Excellence features a total of 30 modernly furnished outside cabins, spread over several decks. The reception area is bright and elegantly designed and features a front desk. Let yourself be pampered in the main restaurant and enjoy the cool drinks served by the three bars on board. Furthermore, a small bazaar and a cozy reading corner are at your disposal. From winter 2024/25, the ship will have a small fitness room, which is freely accessible to all guests on board. To make your holiday perfect, you can relax on the sun loungers on the sun deck or cool off in the pool and enjoy the dreamlike view of the landscape along the Nile.

Suite

The friendly furnished suites (S2) are approx. 24 m² and feature shower/WC, hairdryer, two single beds or one double bed, air conditioning (individually adjustable), minibar, safe, TV, telephone (for a fee), seating area, and a French balcony.
Also bookable for single occupancy (1SA).

Royal Suite

The Royal Suites (RS) have the same facilities as the suites but are larger (approx. 37 m²). The Royal Suites are located on the middle deck and upper deck.
In the Royal Suites, there is also a small table and two chairs on the balcony.

Single Suites

The single suites (S1) are approx. 13 m² and otherwise equipped the same as the suites, but with only one single bed without a seating area.

Economy Suite

The economy suites (S2Z) have the same facilities as the suites but are slightly smaller (approx. 21 m²) and possibly without a French balcony and without a seating area, but with a non-opening window.

The modern and stylish JAZ Elite Maraya is in a dreamlike location directly by the sea, in the idyllic Madinat Coraya. Here, you will spend a relaxing holiday where relaxation and family fun can be easily reconciled. The sandy beach in the long bay is only a few minutes' walk away (beach section of the adjacent JAZ Solaya hotel). The distance to Marsa Alam airport is only approx. 5 km.

Facilities

The "JAZ Elite Maraya" hotel complex was completely newly built in 2018/19 and opened for the 2019 summer season.
The modern hotel in a stylish ambiance with a total of 202 rooms offers a special variety of activities for families with children and is therefore perfect for a relaxing and restorative holiday in Egypt.
Children can enjoy themselves in the large Splash Kids Pool with fun water features and an octopus slide, build sandcastles in the sandbox, or spend exciting hours in the beautiful kids' club. To let off steam, they can climb or play football on the large outdoor playground.
In the family area, parents and children can rest together and recharge their batteries. A main pool (heatable in winter) is available to all guests there. International and local cuisine is offered in the main restaurant in varied buffets. There is a kids' buffet for the little guests. A special culinary highlight is a visit to one of the three specialty restaurants "Nino's" and "Sofra" for lovers of Italian and Oriental cuisine, as well as "MoMo" for lovers of Asian cuisine (subject to availability and with prior reservation).
Sun loungers, sun umbrellas, and pool towels are included at the pools and on the beach.

Superior Family Room

The Superior family rooms (DF2) feature the same facilities as the Superior doubles but are larger (approx. 52 m²) and have a living/sleeping room for the children as well as a bedroom separated by a door for the parents.
Also bookable as Superior family room seaside (FY2) or with pool view (FUP).

Katta Family Room

With similar facility elements to the family rooms, but furnished in the popular Katta style (KWF), these rooms will make children's hearts beat faster. The Katta rooms have 2 rooms with a connecting door to the parents' bedroom and are equipped with a bunk bed for the children.
Also bookable as Katta family room seaside (KWS) for an extra charge or as Katta Superior family room pool view (KPW) with pool view.

Deluxe Family Room

The Deluxe family rooms (2DF) have the same facilities as the Superior family rooms but are even more spacious (63 m²) and additionally equipped with a cozy seating area.
Also bookable with pool view (FPD), sea view (F2D), or on the seaside (FXD).

Katta Deluxe Family Room

With similar facility elements to the Deluxe family rooms, but furnished in the popular Katta style (KWD), these rooms will make children's hearts beat faster. The Katta rooms are equipped with a bunk bed for the children.

Deluxe Family Room Type A

Same facilities as the Deluxe family room, but bookable with 2 adults and 3 children or 2 adults, 2 children, and a baby. The 3rd child will then sleep in the parents' bed or in a baby cot. (ADF)
Optionally also bookable on the seaside (FXA).

Katta's Deluxe Family Room Type A (KWA)

With the same facilities as the Katta's Deluxe family rooms, but bookable with 2 adults and 3 children or 2 adults, 2 children, and a baby. The 3rd child will then sleep in the parents' bed or in a baby cot.

Family Junior Suite Sea View
