Location

The family-run boutique hotel is located on the north coast of Mahé, directly on the natural sandy beach. The island capital Victoria is about a 20-minute drive away. The transfer time to the airport is approximately 40 minutes.

Facilities

The Carana Beach Hotel is built in a modern Creole style and features 40 chalets that blend harmoniously into the natural surroundings. Facilities include a reception area with seating, a small boutique, and a lounge bar. For dining, there is the main restaurant "Lorizon" serving international and regional cuisine with grilled dishes, as well as the "Carana Beach" restaurant offering grilled dishes and seafood specialties. Beside the main building, the swimming pool with sun terraces and panoramic views of the Indian Ocean invites you to relax and unwind. Umbrellas, sun loungers, and beach towels are provided free of charge.

Oceanview Chalet

The chalets (approx. 43m²) blend harmoniously into the tropical landscape. The soft grey and earth tones in the interior create a shimmering contrast to the magnificent view. Amenities include a spacious bathroom with shower/WC, hairdryer, air conditioning, ceiling fan, coffee/tea making facilities, Nespresso coffee machine®, minibar (for a fee), telephone, TV, safe, and an open terrace with sea view.

Please note that an ecotax is charged locally. This levy is payable in cash directly to the hotel per person per night and currently ranges between €1.80 and €7.20 (depending on the size of the hotel). Children under 12 years of age are exempt from this regulation.
