Location

The family-friendly boutique hotel is located on the north coast of Mahé, directly on the natural sandy beach. The island capital Victoria is about a 20-minute drive away. The transfer time to the airport is approximately 40 minutes.

Facilities

The Carana Beach Hotel is built in a modern Creole design and has 40 chalets that blend harmoniously into the natural surroundings. Facilities include a reception area with seating, a small boutique, and a lounge bar. For culinary delights, there is the main restaurant "Lorizon" offering international and regional cuisine and grilled dishes, as well as the "Carana Beach" restaurant with grilled dishes and specialties from Neptune's realm. Besides the main building, the swimming pool with sun terraces and panoramic views of the Indian Ocean invites you to relax and unwind. Sun loungers, umbrellas, and beach towels are available free of charge.

Oceanview Chalet

The chalets (approx. 43m²) blend harmoniously into the tropical landscape. The soft grey and earth tones in the interior create a dazzling contrast to the magnificent view. Amenities include a spacious bathroom with shower/toilet, hairdryer, air conditioning, ceiling fan, coffee/tea maker, Nespresso coffee machine®, minibar (for a fee), telephone, TV, safe, and an open terrace with sea view.

During high tide, the sunbathing and swimming opportunities at the hotel beach are limited.
Please note that a fee for ecological sustainability is charged locally. This fee is to be paid in cash directly to the hotel per person and night and currently ranges between €1.80 and €7.20 (depending on the size of the hotel). Children under 12 years of age are exempt from this regulation.
