Location

The lovingly designed Le Duc de Praslin Hotel is situated in the heart of a tropical garden directly on the picturesque "Anse Volbert" bay, separated from the long, white sandy beach of "Côte D'Or" only by a small coastal road. The hotel is the ideal starting point for exploring the beauty of the surrounding nature. The famous "Anse Lazio" beach and the "Vallée de Mai National Park" are nearby. The transfer from the airport on Mahé takes approximately 20 minutes by car to the port, followed by a ferry trip to the island of Praslin (approx. 75 minutes), and a final 20-minute drive from the port to the hotel.

The "Jewel of the Côte D'Or" consists of several 1-story buildings housing a total of 65 residential units. In addition to a lobby with reception and seating areas, the complex features a boutique and a hair salon. Culinary needs are catered to by the main restaurant, "Le Dauphin," serving Creole and international cuisine, and the à-la-carte restaurant "Café des Artes," offering delicacies from Neptune's realm. Cool refreshments are served at two bars. The hotel’s outdoor area is a flourishing paradise with numerous orchid species, tropical palms, and fish ponds. Three freshwater swimming pools with integrated children's pools, as well as a lawn area and sun terrace, invite you to relax and unwind. Sun loungers, parasols, and bath towels are provided free of charge.

These modern rooms with a Creole flair (approx. 55 m²) feature a bathroom with shower/WC, hairdryer, air conditioning, ceiling fan, minibar (for a fee), safe, LCD satellite TV, iPod docking station, CD player, coffee/tea maker and espresso machine, as well as a balcony or terrace. Minimum age 16 years.

For your international flights to/from Mahé, please note the ferry times when booking accommodation on neighboring islands (e.g., Praslin/La Digue). If arriving after 1 p.m. or departing on a flight before 12 p.m., a transfer to/from Praslin/La Digue cannot be guaranteed. In the event of arrival/departure outside the specified times due to flight delays, bad weather, or long wait times at immigration, our local agency will arrange an overnight stay for you on Mahé.
